By far one of the best, old school, first person, 360 degree jam packed action games in the world! Pxo is no longer available sadly, but TCP/IP still allows players to hit their multiplier Gspots! :] This game will always be one of my favorite multiplier games no matter what. unless maybe... d4?

Awesome game
The Descent series is one of my all time favorites. Descent 3 was the first game I specifically upgraded my computer to be able to play, and I wasn't disappointed. This should be in every gamer's library.

A worthy conclusion
D3 takes the best of the first two, and takes the whole thing out of the mines onto plantetary surfaces. The new weapons rock, the graphics were way ahead of their time, and the sound effects are gripping. The intro is the best part of the story, really amazing, but after that the story takes some odd turns, and it's really my only gripe with this game. You may also need a guide for this game, as some of the levels can become quite confusing towards the end of the game. The multiplayer is great, possibly the game's greatest feature. With the included level builder, lots of great fan made content has been generated and played online. Recommended to any gamer with interest in flight or shooter games.

I like too much of this game…
I like too much of this game…and I want to send my congratulations for the GOG team because you are give one great job for every people (who like to play…of course), also for who live out of USA (I´m Brazilian). I don´t know how are (hard or easy) to buy games more old in other countries, but here is hard…or better: here was hard. Greetings for everybody

Simply the best 6DOF shooters ever made.
Still have my disc copies of this series. Arguably some of the best shooters ever made - 3d movement in interiors which range from claustrophobic to giagantic to mazelike, with occasional secrets and hidden pathways to be found. On normal the games are enjoyable but still reasonably difficult shooters for anyone not used to a 6DOF movement system. For real laughs (or possibly frustration), play on Insane with a flight stick and throttle and be reminded that your reflexes are only human.
