Deadlock: Planetary Conquest

A game from my childhood that was a lot of fun, especially at lan parties.

This is one of the all time best strat conquerer games of all time. Played as a kid and it is still absolutely amazing. For the price, there is not one thing I can thik of that would give you more hours of pure joy.

Its an old game but it is still enjoyable. Land ona planet as one of several species. Build defences, An army, with armoured vehilces, an airforce, a Navy, & missiles. You need to put up buildings for mining, power, food resourses. Included is to build places of learning all which are upgradeable from new tech your species can learn. Then you must battle your neighbours for the planet. Last on the planet isn't a rotten egg. You need to gauge your abilities against your opponents to win. The initial part is to set up the size of the planet, how many capital buildings (up to ten) whether to use your species main ability & how strong or difficult you want to make the game, by the overall percentage from 20% 100%. I'm not sure how high it can go, but I recomend this game highly to play again & again.

I loved playing this as a kid, and while it's not got all the modern bells and whistles, it's a lot of fun if you enjoy turn based 4X with character

Not very good at this but it is a trip down nostalgia lane and it is enjoyable enough. Just beat 3 opponents w maug on average(?) difficulty. It's no MoO2 but it's good.
