Deadlock II: Shrine Wars is an exciting game of strategy, resource management and military conquest. Each race has its own strenghts and weaknesses - learn to exploit them to your advantage. Build, trade, research, attack, as you search for the ancient knowledge that will grant you ultimate control over the entire Universe.
  • Colonize many different worlds across the galaxy as you race to find the ancients’ home world.
  • Trade on the Black Market with the Skirineen race to get illegal supplies of valuable resources.

Deadlock 2 on some Windows 7 and 8.1

It has DDraw problem, screen goes black and in windowd mode, mouse leaves pink trails which making game unplayable. i tried on linux with wine, same thing, it appears that deadlock 2 1.0 (CD Version) perfectly runs on windows. only steam and gog version does not. i tried also with dxwnd, it fixed some problem like black screen and pink trail but whole screen flickers making it unplayable. i didnt test, on windows 95, 98, 2000, xp, vista, opensuse, ubuntu, debian.

Does not work for windows 8 64 bit!

Screen goes black after main menu appears, rendering game unplayable. Do not purchase if you have a Windows 8 system until the developers fix this issue.

Windows 10 computer, no go.

Bought the combo pack of this game.. This one of Deadlock: Shrine wars did not work.. Will not show screen. Game is running in the back ground but unable to actually play it

I had to download the NO cd crack too. It wouldn't work otherwise.

Unplayable on Windows 8.1 x64

With all the fixes (DirectX, compatibility mode and windowed mode) it's still just a blinking black screen, really a pity.
