The best metroidvania I ever played
Dead Cells is an amazing metroidvania that is fast paced and skill based. There are tons of unlockable gears and a good variety of levels to keep things fresh even after dozens of hours. I love it when games give players the option to customize various aspects of the game and Dead Cells is one of those few games that let you do just that. While the normal game is very difficult at higher difficulties, most average gamers should be able to beat the hardest difficulty and unlock all gears thanks to all the ways to customize the game. My only gripe is that due to a bug, I am unable to obtain 3 blueprints that require doing daily challenges. This is an issue that many players are experiencing (it's not limited to linux). I had the game for over a month and I still have not been able to start a single daily challenge. At this point, I'm not sure the devs will address this issue.
