I think this is the best version of cyberpunk 2077 for people who don't have a base game - the ultimate edition contains base game + phantom liberty expansion + patch 2.1
This is beautiful. Buy it asap!
I've been eagerly awaiting Cyberpunkt since it was first announced, and I also jumped at the first opportunity long before it was released. Expectations were high. Too high?
The first thing you notice is the impracticality of cars. I've played Project Zomboid in the meantime, where cars are easier to control. I've driven a lot of cars, even those with more horsepower than they're good for, but the way the cars move through Nightcity hurts. Then follow the quest with the car. All nicely controlled events with behavior that no driver would exhibit - at least not in total.
The cars also feel wrong, because on the road the distant lights are not cars but fade-ins that disappear as you get closer. And like that, much of Night City feels empty and lifeless.
There are no interactions outside of the quests and the quests are often very limited. Love interests allow you to meet, cuddle a bit and always have the same conversations. Merchants often don't even want to talk to you, most of the stalls are just fake.
Don't geht me wrong, everything looks good, like the game was close to be great, but finally it's all fake: You play your main story and to few quests in a lifeless fake world. It feels like a themeparc attraction with nice fronts and no inner life.
Unfortunately, despite several patches (2.12), the game is still plagued by bugs. Most of them are character or item glitches that break the immersion. However, during my gameplay, I have still managed to fall out of the map, become invincible (not taking damage), or walk on air.
The storytelling is truly amazing when you stick to the main story-line, but on side quests, it's a mixed bag.
The controls are the most awful part of this game; it does not follow any standards and changes depending on what state you are in.
Visually, the game is beautiful, but I don't understand the idea of character creation when there is no third-person view and mirrors only work on interaction.
It's hard not to compare it to The Witcher 3, which had much more world interaction outside quests and was released in a much better state.
Honestly... I regret the purchase :(
Other than impressive graphics and a futuristic setting (for those who prefer it), Cyberpunk 2077 has little to offer compared to GTA V from 2013.
Even with Patch 2.2, the game is still plagued by bugs. Animations are glitchy—characters will sit mid-air and awkwardly slide into chairs instead of walking and sitting naturally. NPCs feel completely lifeless, lacking any meaningful interaction or immersion. Enemy AI is on par with Deus Ex from 2007, or perhaps even worse.
Boss fights, which should be standout moments, are instead frustrating due to glitches. To avoid spoilers, one of the early bosses glitched and wouldn’t move throughout the entire fight, while another boss had their health bar stuck at 1%, making them impossible to kill.
Its one of the best games i´ve ever played.
The whole game is perfect, the graphics are gorgeous, the city is too beautiful, the game content is awesome with lot of side quests very well accomplished (above all panam quests). The main history is very inmersive, with lot of action, sadness, tension and etc. Im not gonna say much more to not spoil the game for you. If i'll lose my memory and had to play it again, i'll sure do it one and thousand more times.
So go for it, enjoy the game, if you can get it on sale much better, i hope you enjoy it to the fullest.
