To start off Cdpr deplorers changed the core of the original game.
The driving mission Is horrible.
Less Johnny
And you get saved by this Mayor which V Is supposed to be a badass, can't fight these things? really Cdpr really?
I was very dissapointed with CDPR's nonsensical treatment of the cyberpunk IP mainly because punks of any flavour have nothing to do with cops, yet this attempt at a game ignores that and has you rolling around with one and generally being a gopher for the fuzz. this makes zero sense in the setting.
I'm old enough to have played the P&P version the game back in the day as well, so while I'm not setting myself up as the professor of cyberpunk, it seems I have a better grasp of it than CDPR.
I bought a pre-order. It was said that all paid DLC will be available as they are released.
And now with the release of Phantom Freedom I get nothing.
Give me the DLC or give me my money back.
It looks and plays fantastic on Ultra, but where the base game is playable with raytracing on a 3080Ti this expansion is a slideshow.
Where I fondly remember the companions, the dark hand, the thieves guild, getting the mace of molag bal etc, as starter quests. The start of any CDPR game becomes so amazingly tedious because it has no replay value, its the same every time.
I imagine starting a new run of this in 1-2 years time, immediately remembering how tedious this starting escort quest is and alt+f4'ing out of the game. Sure its the best escort quest I ever did see, but I can't think of a single escort quest I remember fondly. Is this the one? NO.
I write to you in deep melancholy for the game has yet to start and I'm beginning to worry this is infact it. May I make it through these dark escort quest times. Atleast the escortee whoever has legs and can run.
