I got swindled,

You probably heard of CDPR's great new update, right? After numerous articles discussing what a failure this game was, the news of an update brought hope I'd imagine. I always kept my distance from this company regardless, and of course, the moment i let my guard down during a summer sale is when I realize no one can escape being swindled. I can run any game on my pc, but I cant run this one. Even after downloading drivers and scouring the internet for solutions, I am left looking like a fool. The game is unplayable. I have requested a refund. I know for a fact this is the first and last CDPR game I will own. While attemting to run this game at 5 fps, I also noticed that it in no way reflects the trailers or what was advertised about the game. No wonder even Keanu Reeves, the "bait", hasnt even played this representation of modern day gaming ... a scam.

Great Game

Do not listen to the complaining of all these pretentious hipsters. This Game is great and that is quite rare these days in Modern Gaming.

I enjoy it more than the witcher series

So far I just played for 3h so i might change the review. For everybody with similiar hardware i post specs and performance System Specs: CPU:3700X GPU:3080 m.2 ssd 32gig 3200Mhz ram WQHD wide screen Monitor (note: graphicscad and cpu manually ocerclocked - I don't expect more than 5% deviatian to none OC) Graphics settings and performance: settings set to ultra 1440p resolution (3440x1440) DLSS on (Quality) RTX Ultra I have between 45 - 80 fps. Most of the time it is in the high 60s to low 70s Fps isn't perfect, but it's ok for me. With the mentioned settings it is a good looking game. bugs: Had only minor bugs/glitches - like a disappearing burger some npc was chewing - I don't rly mind s.th. like that. positiv so far: +voice acting and animations are rly well done. +storytelling +graphics neutral: -gunplay - feels not as smooth as a shooter like COD, BF, Doom... and muzzle flash is over the top, which is annoying negativ: -controls are made for consoles first, UI control especially awkward. -keybindings are a mess, customization limited (buggy?) the game doesn't accept many keybindings for specific actions... Since the negativ aspects are just minor things (for me) i would rate it 4 1/2 stars

2020 strikes again.

So don't expect a functional product. Wasteland 3, Baldur's original sin 3 and now CP2077. I quit the rpg genre because of these broken games and false promises. The hardware requirements are false advertising as well. Only rtx 30 series user have a somewhat pleasant experience. The game itself is just another derivative of Ubisoft's open-world formula for the casual masses. Refunded a request and will not buy any CDPR products in the future. I did not like the Witcher games anyways. They have already sold out to investors and it is just a matter of time until they become the next Ubisoft, Activision or EA. They are already eager to force you into using the Galaxy client for in-game rewards.

Almost ideal, immersive like hell

I mean, I'm have pretty low spec for gaming PC (R5 1600 OC'd to 3,8Ghz + RX 580 8G OC'd to 1430Mhz + 16GB CL16 RAM + NVME SSD + AOC 32" screen) and game runs and looks like charm on medium+ with 1440p. After few hours of play I've seen only one glitch (like in first 5min of game, some guys were sitting in the middle of the road not in the yard, so I guess I'm burnt in first small village cause I hit them :P ). As of controls, I don't play games like these on keyboard (my hands were actually hurt while playing AC Syndicate) + mouse, so my recommendation is to just hook up Xbox pad and it's fine (one issue found - unable to change car camera, but internet says that restart helps). Or buy some cheap rip-off, like PDP controller for half of the price. In general - if you are seeing gfx glitches it 90% means that you are too high with your settings and should go lower. I was planning to up some settings cause by looking at my specs, temps etc. it looks like there is some wiggle room but to be honest I see no point. Game is running around 50+ FPS and looks great (except some grainy/square-isch shadows). Just relax in your chair, grab a decent controller, use a good size screen, turn the volume up and burn that city.
