Game has its problems like controls, bugs, fps drops. But the red engine is not the best thing to start with in cyberpunk city. Works good for witcher world, but cyberpunk city requires different approach for rendering. So I expected problems in general.
So for me 5\5, endings are special, really. Can only guess what can be in DLCs
Wow, so many whiners here - it's just hard to believe. I've just completed the game (64h) and all I can say is this was an amazing experience that was given to us at such a critical moment in our life. People dying from covid, cities under lockdown, countries isolated, dictators not overthrown, political clowns clinging on to their posts, businesses closing - just to name a few. CDPR gave us an opportunity to escape into this wonderful world of Cyberpunk, to forget how shitty reality is right now, to let ourselves dissolve into Night City - and all I see is constant whining about bugs and how base console versions of the game are bad. Yes, of course, there are tons of bugs in this game, of course, the base console versions are abysmal, but I managed to play it on a mid-end PC and overlook those problems because I could not believe how marvelously crafted this game was. The world just felt too real in Night City. After my first 6 hours, I went outside and thought to myself - now this is a generic-looking city filled with boring NPC's that I live in. Went back into NC right afterward. The people at CDPR, sure they made mistakes, but they'll work their asses off to fix them and eventually provide a full-fledged experience for all gamers PC or console. So quit crying and learn to appreciate things, we might not get anything great as Cyberpunk 2077 in the future based on where life is going. This is an experience that will never be forgotten, thank you CDPR. This game saved 2020.
I love it!
Started my second playthrough yesterday. The story is a masterpiece - amazing.
The City is breathtaking.
There are glitches and bugs but nothing that is relevant to the awesome game mechanics.
I´m now 60h in and nowhere near finishing the main story, but this game is amazing.
Graphics (not even completly turned up), gamplay, story-telling ... everything is truly terrific.
Of course there are some bugs here and there, but other than some graphical and model-bugs, I only had 2 bugs which meant me having to reload an autosave, after which everything was fine.
And seriously ... every game has bugs at release ... so what?
Another minor critiquing point would be the driving mechanics, which I´m not totally in love with, because they feel quite spongy.
Right now, this is my second favorite RPG, right after Wichter 3 and the only reason for it to not surpass the witcher is the unbeatable story there.
If anyone of the CDPR staff reads this: I love the game and the world you created, it´s astonishingly beatiful and complex and I hope, that this huge amount of hate stops at some point.
All the people saying bad things about this game are not fans of the actual game. This is a simply magnificent game in every way. I know it has some flaws, but then again the future never looked so bright. I have gone through and beat the game twice with 2 different endings, now I am playing it on Very Hard, and am really enjoying it, as now I understand the physics and the game. It is seriously an in depth RPG. I literally am dying for some DLC content. There is already the area where DLC is coming. Oh yeah and the Panzer section went totally kudos to Walter John Williams and the book Hard Wired. If you have never read it, it compliments this game. I am in complete love with this game. Sure there is some bugs, but I actually have faith in it. The modding community is already making mods, and it's amazing! I am in love with this game (repeat again and again, because I can not say it enough! I do have one gripe in that with my Radeon 5700XT I can not stream the game. I do not know why. I am thinking of buying a dedicated streaming card just for this game. Yeah I am into this thing. YOU KNOW ITS GOOD WHEN YOU HAVE DREAMS OF THE GAME! So anyway, this game is seriously underrated. GOG is amazing, and I am slowly making the switch from Steam to GOG. Being able to play it without an online connection is amazing!
