《赛博朋克 2077》

Underwhelming. A game where your enemies are bullet sponges, headshots dont really matter, you find tons of funky colored guns that are mostly irrelevant, little to no interesting interactions with your world, the AI is from a potato and the storytelling/atmosphere is shallow and bland... does that sound familiar? And all this while beeing early-access-buggy. I did not expect anything new or revolutionary. This game is not reaching the basic standard of a good quality game and its not just about the bugs - those can be fixed, although the sheer amount of them is shamefull and only would be acceptable for an early access game (!) What dissappoints me the most is the lacking depth of the story/character interactions. The start is nice but it gets very much watered down, rushed and disappointing after that. A beautifull stage with a missed oportunity to fill it with great strytelling, depth and atmosphere. Oh and the gameplay is bad. Steering and aiming feel like playing a bad console port. It makes me think, that this maybe is one. CDProjectRED get your shit togheter, this is so shameful

This game works as an Early Access title heading into its alpha phase. But it is not ready for release by a long shot. It needs years to get up to a release standard... It's fun, but so too are many Early Access indie games that cost a lot less and end up being more polished in a shorter amount of time. Unfortunately, I don't see this as being something that can get to the scope it was promised years ago. With each cycle of development leading to further release delays, it's apparent that the scope was reduced, features removed and trimmed down, down, down until what we're left with is a world that's not only unfinished, but one that lacks immersion or, I should say, cannot sustain its suspension of disbelief for much longer than an eye-blink before the weight of its complex systems interacting with one another just falls over and the sub-routines implode and the game janks out. By now, you've seen the videos of the various glitches and bugs - this game is horrendously buggy. I feel like it's a game that's a mile wide, but centimetres deep and it makes Bethesda games feel immersive - and those games are just horrible and the people who enjoy them as lofty experiences with incredibly immersive worlds, rather than quite mediocre RPGs... are mentally handicapped. Play Witcher 3 instead.

The Night City is beatiful and a pleasure to be in, but unfortunately very empty and non-interactive. Most of the promised features that were supposed to make the game stand out were cut, the story is linear and shallow, the NPC AI is nonexistent. The life paths are a joke, they end as soon as they begin and the extra dialog options you get for your chosen life path are inconsequential. The characters are interesting enough, but the male romance options are very underwhelming compared to the female ones for some reason. Overall it feels like the game would be amazing if it had more meaningful content, more choices and consequences, more interactions with the city, and AI that makes its inhabitants at least somewhat lifelike. For now only 2 stars though, as every single aspect of the game feels unfinished. I am optimistic that the devs will deliver what they promised eventually though, then I will change my rating accordingly.

Witcher 3 is probably my favorite game of all time. But this thing is just so boring! Cyberpunk is just a huge empty city. After a good number of hours, I hit a mission I can't complete. I hate stealth, and they just see me everytime. So I try combat, but keep dying, and have to start again from the beginning. I have not enjoyed one mission, the characters are boring, everything is just too drab and depressing. A real waste of $60.

This was the first and last game I ever pre-ordered. I trusted CDPR and based on their record I hoped they would deliver. Boy, was I wrong. I won't grill on issues so many more trustworthy reviewers have touched upon. I am literally unable to complete the game without starting a new character. Even if I am to overlook the broken promises, the underdelivery on story, content and innovation. Heck, even the bugs (yes still aplenty)m I at least expect this pos to work until the end. A raggedy rusty shell that clunks and sputters but at least crosses the finish line. NEVER buying ANYTHING on GOG again. NEVER trusting CDPR or any other publisher with a preorder again. I'll feel happy to maybe, maybe play this in 5 years time at $5 from G2A when they finally fix it.
