I encountered so many visual bugs...
Look, no problem. you can fix them but the most important thing to address are the fps. BOY, OH BOY, this game makes regular pc's look like potatoes. I have a gtx 1070 and an i7 6700. I play on high settings with shadows on low. I only get 45 frames in the city AT BEST. If I play the game on low, I only gain about 15 frames more. I would rather play on high with a few less fps than low with a few more.
OPTIMISE THE GAME
the game is cool if you forget :
-Opti for PC ( a joke ? ) graphical and controls both are really broken
- Bugs yes, bugs everywhere all the time from funny ones that doesn't really impact to those who completly break the game ( i was litteraly under the car all along an important cinematic )
We can see the city how big it is with so many things and we would love to discover it but really the game is not really playable maybe in 1 year i hope so.
I support the dev for all the work left to do in the game, this will be hard, farewell.
on RTX2080ti, RTX looks amazing (DLSS performance at 4K), 30 fps is enough for me.
I LOVE real reflections!
Storywise, I feel dropped in the deep end, just going through the motions hoping it will make more sense on a replay one day. Acting is good. Story feels genuine even though I don't really understand it yet.
Gameplay, its a weird mix of shooter / RPG. Already too much stuff, too many guns, too many upgrades and they don't really seem to matter - I just shoot and win. A lot of looong sections that are essentially cinema, worries me that replay will be tedious.
This game suffers from the same problem I hate in other games - it has no relation to real life. You have to learn a new language full of slang, full of nerdy techy terms (I still don't know after playing for 5 hours what 90% of the nouns mean - what IS a netrunner?? What is a corpo really? Still don't really understand what a quickhack is, RAM makes no sense compared to real life)
Glitchy.
Otherwise, a good game, 4 out of 5 if you don't compare to Witcher and forget about all the hype and delays.
I played my first playthrough on Very Hard as Corpo, completed the Story with many Sidequests.
Run a 6800k with a 980ti and 32gb Ram, i could play everything on Ultra on 1080p and never had experienced any framedrops.
Never had a gamebreaking Bug or had to reload a previous Savegame because of a Bug.
Bugs were somethimes very minor graphical glitches, like Johnnys Cigarettes floating, 3 or 4 times stuck a NPC, the worst of all was just a Character instead of standing, sitting through the floor... thats it.
The Story is great i really like it.
Now the things i dont like.
The whole pre launch talking about Style, Cars, Clothings, how you look like, that looks matter etc. Fact is nobody cares how you look like, nobody cares what Car you drive. You dont wear any Clothes because "Style", because Style doesnt get you anywhere. You wear the most effective Stuff, this means, you have a Military Helmet, a Leather Jacket, a Tshirt, glittering Disco Pants and Boots.
Vehicle Physics are just bad, it is no fun to "cruise" around the City, sidenote the Minimap should show a bit more, because if i have to turn it is always visible in the last second, most time too late and i have to make always u-turns.
CDPR what were you thinking in the missions in which V is the Passenger? Why do the Cars do not have any physics and drive like on rails? This is so frustrating!
I dont like that Weapons, Armor and Enemies got levels as in any MMO or Lootshooter.
I thought the Game has a more realistic approach, just with different Ammo and Caliber Types.
This is what i mean that Style does not matter at all, because you can have a White level 20 Bandana that has 100 Armor, while a level1 Helmet only has 5, same with Weapon damage. (as example)
But ok it is what it is, i do recommend buying the Game for the Story, and i love all Voice Actors, they did a fantastic Job, also the Artstyle and World is beautiful, i did feel all the time immersed in this World.
