《赛博朋克 2077》

So boring. Endless dialogue from uninteresting and poorly written characters. Sit in a car, listen to a character try so hard to be edgy and tough. Then FINALLY the mission ends and you get to be harassed non stop by phone calls you are not allowed to ignore to hear even more terrible characters tell you about errands (pointless filler) you can run for them. Not that it would matter if the phone shut up for 5 seconds as there is absolutely nothing to do in this world. NOTHING! What is the point in this game being open world? Other than to buy a dildo? Such creativity! “Maybe YouTubers will make funny videos of our game!” So you get bored and just go from main story quest to main story quest in an attempt to just get through this garbage you paid for only to die of boredom as you spend 90% of your time listening to characters talk, following them around and sitting in a car while the NPC drives because you chose not to drive because the car controls are so terrible and something any self respecting developer would be utterly embarrassed to put out in to the world and have the audacity to charge money for it let alone claim it AAA quality. Most of what they promised just isn’t in the game. I ignored a lot of the reviews and fuss about this game at launch knowing that in general gaming communities tend to overreact, negative videos get more views than positive ones and people just love to hate on things. But this game really is as bad as everyone says. I find it impossible to enjoy and wish I had never wasted my time on it. And yes, the performance on PC is atrocious, still. It’s hard to believe anyone at CDPR played this game and thought it was anywhere near ready to be released. But they must have tested it, meaning they knew how tragic this pathetic excuse for a game was and released it anyway. Nothing a good marketing campaign won’t fix now days in this industry.

I bought into the hype as soon as the first trailed was released a little less than a decade ago. As someone who plays LOTS of open world games and enjoys the immersion provided by these role playing games, I was HEAVILY disappointed by the final product. Sure, it looks nice. The city looks nice. The graphics when turned up to max on a RTX 3090 look nice, but that's about all the game has going. Literally zero branching story lines, every character is bland as hell (especially V). The character back story doesnt matter beyond the first 30 minutes. The action/combat feels bland, and the inventory/crafting system is obnoxiously unintuitive. Sad that I preordered this game. I wont preorder another CDPR game. Dude playing guitar was pretty sweet tho, insane what full body tracking animation can do.

We were promised an RPG and this is not an RPG. - There is no skill checks on dialogs, no posibility to get different outcomes from misions, they just add flavour, everything is too linear. - There are no cutscenes beyond the couple first misions and only one implant cutscene for eye/hand, rest missing. - Lifepaths removed, few dialog lines no matter your origin then a 6 months gap cutscene lol. - Braindance missing beyond a couple misions. - Tech skill tree is a joke, granades? seriously? where are the drones, droid swarms, decoy...? - Poor crafting & itemization system, nothing interesting, food needs to be gone or be fixed. - Confusing UI, there should be names for vendors/fixers/riperdocs on the map, you can not tell if a mod is meant for ranged weapons, melee, armor or an implant. - Too easy even on hardest mode, just overlevel and enjoy an easy ride... - Cyberpsycosis/Humanity (tarot?) system missing. - Not enough "miniboss" figths. - No minigames (gwent style). - No metro/train travel system and no random encounters. - No radio stations system (to tune OST selection). - Not enough rain/polution vapour/dust weather effects. Come On CP-PROJECT, you can do better than this !

First of all you need an TopTier PC to play this game. I am on ryzen 5600X and gtx1080(bc i dont want to spend 1k€ for a 3070) and i get a max of 60fps. But it feels like 40fps. -The NPCs and police act so weird. -Controls are just horrible and designed for Console -The Choices you make don´t alter the path you go, only in very little ways... -Cars?? like wtf was that????? I spend 30h at the release and stopped to try it at a different point. That was now. played for 10min and deinstalled it for good. I did not let me hype but this was just SAD!

First up - yes, there are bugs, but they're getting fixed - yes, NPC interaction outside of the main characters is basically non-existent - yes, it could do with a lot of massaging to be worthy of CDProjekt's reputation - yes, there was no way this could ever have lived up to the hype But... if you can get past some of the game world issues, the story that is there is decent. The graphics are great. The sound is top notch. The gameplay shouldn't be too unfamiliar to those who played Witcher3. Spells are hacks. You have guns. Its clearly the same base game mechanics. I think much of the issues can be fixed at least somewhat with patches and add-on DLC. It's still one of the few recent games i bothered to spend the time to complete in late 2020/early 2021. If you're more concerned with gunplay and game mechanics, maybe buy on sale (or not at all). If you're more interested in the story element, its decent. I'm not upset with my purchase.
