NGL, was excited but performance issues hampered by proprietary preferences (nvidia) prevented it to work well.
Note that this game's engine will no longer be used for future games of this sort. This will most likely prevent future prioprietary restrictions that hampered this game immensely.
I tried it, XB-controller-controlls were broken, let it rest, tried it again aso. Now I'm done trying. I was really looking forward to Cyberpunk and waited until the reviews said, that it should be playable. First thing: When I used the controller, sometimes the mouse-cursor was hovering through the screen, ok, was only a few times. Then the inversion of the y-axis didn't work, although it was activated. After some infuriating tries and no help from the net, I found out that you also have to invert the y-axis on the mouse - sure, totally logical. What really pushed me over the edge was, that now I cannot duck, because somehow the A ans B buttons are both for jumping although the normal Controller-Setup is activated (Yes, i restarted every device multiple times). And, spare me the option, I refuse to play with mouse and keyboard because it is not 1999 anymore! How can an renowend team like CDPR not manage to implement a decent controller-support in one of the most wanted RPGs - even after the addon is out??? I hate, that I can't rate anything else, but IF I CANNOT PLAY THE GAME, BECAUSE THE CONTROLLS ARE BROKEN, EVEN THE MINIMUM-RATING SEEMS TOO HIGH!
Worth it 100%, story rich, fun gampley with tons of variety for builds, huge modding platform, stunning visuals with a great art style and Phantom Liberty is the best expansion to a game ive played.
I've played videogames since I was 5 years old and Cyberpunk2077 is the only game I have ever played that I can honestly give a 10/10.
120 hours and I wasnt bored for one of them. I wouldnt even have stopped at 120 hours but I legit ran out of things to do.
Why do I give it a 10/10?
The game has stunning graphics which can be further enhanced via modding. Despite this it runs surprisingly well, even on a steam deck.
The Soundtrack is an absolute Banger.
You can play so many different ways. Brute force, Stealth, Hackerman, Katana, Sniper, Tech Weapons...
But really, the game deserves my recommendation due to the story and setting.
To summarize I've heard Cyberpunk is low life, high tech. And I couldnt sum it up any better.
Without getting into this too much I'll just ay that due to how dystopian and flashy the game's story and world are it got me thinking about a lot of how we deal with technology and morality.
And a game that gets me thinking is definitely a good game. Just like a good book will make you take a break and think.
If you're worried about bugs, glitches or jank, dont be. Since 2.0 this game is stable (on PC).
It makes me tremendously sad how the launch has soured many peoples opinion of this masterpiece of a game and that we only got one DLC due to it.
This game couldve been legendary in the minds of everyone had the decision been made to focus on PC and current gen consoles over desperatelly trying to make old hardware work AND catch the christmas sale.
I am absolutely looking forward to the next game in this series and recommend it to everyone I know and now I also decided to review it here.
10/10 grab it if you like RPG's at all.
