《赛博朋克 2077》

I love CD Projekt RED and fully support them. I've been quite vocal anywhere Cyberpunk 2077 was involved: I tried to defend CD Projekt RED's great failure, stating that this developer fully earned our trust and respect and we should wait for them making Cyberpunk 2077 fully playable on medium specs rigs and past-gen consoles. By the way I believe this developer deserves our trust way more than many others that we mindlessly support: we gamers waited for Bethesda having their ATROCIUSLY AND AMATEURISHLY BUILT videogames fixed by us, we the people, we PC Gamers and Modders that actually created all the fixes for TES IV (2006 and still buggy) TES V (2011 and still buggy) and the various Fallout spinoffs from Bethesda that wouldn't even be playable if WE GAMERS from the modding community didn't fix them and yet we never shitstormed Bethesda as hard as we are doing with Projekt RED. BUT I regret to say that in late 2021 Cyberpunk2077 is still unplayable even at lowest graphics settings on a rig that can easily sustain Doom2016 at up to 200 frames per second at Ultra settings. Cyberpunk 2077 is still a mess as of late November 2021: as an advanced user I needed a full evening to patch the game myself and find a way to start it (because as it is sold IT DOESN'T EVEN START UP!) and I could barely manage to finish the badly written and totally unplayable unfunny opening sequence only for the game to crash my whole rig as soon as I entered Night City. Found no way to fix that. Immediate refund. If you do not have the very latest high-end rig, I mean a 5k+ euros rig freshly bought in late 2021, don't even think about this game running properly for you. And even at that point it might randomly crash or act up in strange ways. I'll give it a try again in 2023 because I really want to love this game, for now is 1 Star out of 5.

I completed the game early in 2021. I went back to play it again, but I just couldn't... I don't know how to explain it, but it feels very lacking. There's something that just doesn't click. Everything feels half baked. It feels like a mediocre indie studio made the game. I would not currently suggest purchasing this game at full price. Maybe at 50%, it would be okay. I would highly suggest waiting for all the DLC and everything to be released before purchasing or playing it. In fact, that's likely what I will be doing. Man, saying this about this game makes me feel so sad. I really wanted to love this game, but it's just so mediocre.

There is an issue where this guy whose name i don't know is in the food factory (?). and it's impossible to enter the building because the doorway is blocked a boucner.

But sadly, isn't. Finally got to install it and jump in. After a brief absolut "WOW!"-Moment that wears off about 4 hours into the game, there's so much avoidable, horrible design choices and bugs here, that take away from an anjoyable game. The Good: Superb storytelling and worldbuilding. It doesn't feel like Night City, it IS Night City, they gave it life! And I mean from the way the city moves and breathes and sounds. Sound design is rad as well. The Bad: Yeah, that's right, there's no saving graces here, except the great feel of the city. The controls are backwards AF, the bugs are UNREAL in a game that's been out for so long, e.g. half the stuff not working as described, some stuff doesn't work from the start, disappearing weapons, etc. And it is littered with horrible design choices, like the scanning/hacking controls, the menu in general, and pretty much every aspect of this game. Horrible to see this sad state of a game. When googling about certain issues it's quickly revealed, that a lot of these things are known for years... Sorry, CDPR, but this game is NOT a good advertisement for you. It's half-baked, horribly designed, bug riddled and a lot of things are poorly or not explained, like the scaling of cyberware weapons. There's so much that shouldn't be as bad as it is in the first place, let alone in this state after sooo much time. Seriously, I barely touched the base game, and I already know I will never buy a DLC, because there are so many core issues in terms of design alone, that no DLC will fix this. Sad, I wanted this to be great.

Giving the game a 3/5 for the time being. PC Specs: i9-9900k @ 4.6GHz RTX 2080 Super Asus Z390-H Ggaming Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB 2666MHz x2 8GB Corsair H115i PRO RGB game installed on a kingston M.2 NVMe type 2280 SSD >Running the game at mostly high setting with some on ultra, DLSS on auto @ 1440p with ray tracing off and no v-sync, game's FPS is all over the place, normally runs at 50-60fps with dips down to the 30's 40's with minimal change change in the environment or effects. Turn DLSS off and FPS is cut in half (not sure if the game was meant to be played with DLSS on all the time, personally, not my cup of tea). According to the sys. specs. CDPR released on their website, the recommended for running the game at 1440p ULTRA with RTX off is a 2060 6VRAM, i7-4790 & 12GB RAM but seems mysystem is barely able to handle the game with these settings. Won't judge the game itself since i only have 2 hrs in. Will be playing occasionally but not continuously until the game is further optimized. I did enjoy those 2 hrs but not as much as i would've with smoother fps
