Misleading marketing
“I think people forget that Cyberpunk 2077 is, first and foremost, an RPG, okay?” - CDPR employee, probably First positives: - combat was fun for me - skills and perks, thou unbalanced, are great and it is fun to create your own combat style - story was ok (thou not fully an RPG) - night city is just the best city I have seen in any game - awesome characters - good audio and voice acting You can almost feel the potential of what it could be bubbling from this game. Problem is lots and lots of the advertised features are missing. And it is buggy as hell. - AI is just horrendous - bugs everywhere - in 2077 cars unfortunately do not have any weight to them, which feels unnatural to us - no transmog, or any other clothing visual modifications - basically working only on high end PCs currently - city feels dead (stem probably from the AI problem) - did I mention bugs? Won't go into more details on the problems. You probably know about them already. To deserve the RPG title this game would require to offer much more options to players. Do not expect in story line to be able to go something like renegade/paragon mass effect style. Often you just get variation of the same answer. I would give it probably 3 stars, 4 without the bugs, if I just take it for what it is. But thanks to the misleading marketing and game basically not working on consoles... that would be just 1 star. But to be fair I had fun playing it so there you go. It can still be saved. Fix the bugs, add missing, promised, features and this can easily go to 5 stars.
