Not sure how CDPR managed to snap defeat from the jaws of victory here. A janky game engine, awful AI and just pure failure on what should have been a home run with basic compentency at helm. This game is not ready - and we should not celebrate it being "fine" because releasing something of this quality should be unacceptable as a product.
Accepting this as "OK" allows future games to also mislead us with their marketing - because if CP2077 could do it, why not any other game?
For gamers, this could really be considered the crowning jewel on an amazingly shitty year.
I tried to translate my test in english:
...said Skippy the gun... OK! I won't talk about the humour in this game...(Neanderthal)
I can't accomplish the Epistropgy quest because of a bug...
My R9 + RTX 3090 can't handle the game at more than 50 fps...
The Story is full of shortcuts: 2 minutes to change your life, 2 hours to be the ultimate friend of an idiot. The rest of the game in company of this guy... No!
The Phone...The people I don't know who call me everytime...
So sad, this world should have been astonishing! But the NPCs, the void, even the graphics... What the heck!...
Sometimes the game makes things great with its antiquity quotes and its philosophical questions. But even this, is not finished!...
6 years ago I discovered this game... So sad!... It was my most anticipated game ever.
Preordered the game but after seeing the poor state the gameplay is in (deliberately ignoring the bugs here) decided I would have to wait at least 6 more months before I can play it for real.
Now, a month after that the game is already discounted to 30$. So in reality I payed 30$ for the game and 30$ for the privilege to play the alpha build.

If it was not for the hype or this game was done by a different publisher I wouldn't buy it even for 20$. There is really nothing that innovative here and the core gameplay loop is boring. The first 6 hours of the game are actually ok, but the further your progress the more you see that the developers focused on the first few hours so that all the reviewers who don't play the full game before making a review can see all the good stuff. The last 50% of the game is absolutely generic, your choices don't actually matter at all for the most time and the ones that do have less impact than e.g. in Witcher 3.
It's really just "Witcher 3 fan-made cyberpunk DLC" than a standalone game.

Remember mantis blades and how cool they seemed in promo material? It's really just a katana skin, that's it, in fact there are better swords in the game than the mantis blades, making them totally pointless as they take a cyberware slot. Left click to stab, right click to strong stab, is this what you wanted?
My main gripe about Cyberpunk was that if felt like a story heavy looter shooter, not RPG. With 2.0 it's not even a looter shooter anymore, just FPS with redundant skill trees. Everything that I disliked about 2077 earlier, linear story, unresponsive world, overwhelming companion that can't be turned off is still there. Just with more tedious gameplay and some classic bugs.
