《赛博朋克 2077》

For now, I´ll let the game rest. Here´s why: The game has so much potential, its looks stunningly great, but benath the surface, there is not much to be found. To me it feels like another year of development time would have been good for CP2077. I didn´t encounter many bugs and the few graphical issues I had went away after getting the latest graphics drivers. As long as you follow along the main storyline, everything is fine, the game just of rushes you through it up to a point, where you feel kind of guilty if you break away from it for just doing side quests. Good storytelling at first hand, but bad for the side content at the other side. Why not giving the main character a break from time to time in which he can do...well...stuff? Immersion is another big issue to me. It seems like a lot of things have been cut out. Braindances, eating animations, almost all kinds of "XXX-activity", gambling in a casino, modding cars, doing stuff to my apartment, terrible KI regarding traffic an people behaviour: Immersive stuff like that is missing big time! I mean, come on: What is the sense in being able to define very, ehm...private parts of the character, if they are not being used in the game? Thinking of the witcher games and about how CP2077 was advertised, I expected something else...(and for sure not just XXX stuff. Hell, I had a blast during the braindance tutorial (Investigations!), but soon found out how much potential was wasted there) Another thing is the weapon / armor exchange rate. After literaly every mission, i have to change a weapon or a piece of clothing. The character looks like a clown within the first minutes of playtime And finally...the endings. Sorry, didn´t like them at all. Why the heck can´t the character just survive? The game is meant to give me a good time, not even more depressive thoughts! (6 Month is not "survive"!) 3 stars just because of the great potential this game shows so far. Lets wait until February...

The state of the Game is unaacceptable. If I wouldnt have so much fun with it I would have refunded it. Dont buy this if you have a weaker PC. I didnt have as many bugs and glitches as others. This is still the moist unfinished game I have ever played. Wait for a year and get it. Tbh this isnt even an Early Access standard. Still the core of the game is awesome. Has lots of potential. Unless you want to be kind of a beta tester, do not get this game yet. The Bad: Bad Performance, Glitches/Bugs everywhere, Animations from the pre 360-era, Bad AI. The Good: The designed game world. Would be totally immersed if it wasnt for the state the game is in. Awesome story and characters. Quests are really fun but bad animations take you yet again out of the immersion. You can have a different experience depending on your skills/playstyle and maybe the answers you give (I am not entirely sure on this one, but it seems like it would have impact).

It is very clear they rushed this unfinished mess out for the holiday season. Most of my time spent with this game have been trying to fix the visual, audio, and control bugs and glitches. I'd like to say that in a year or two this will be a great game, but right now the issues completely outweigh the enjoyment.

The game is great w/ beautiful graphics, interesting story/characters/quests. The bugs are out of control though at times. The AI is really really bad. And even with a 1070 I get stutters and low framerates. You might want to wait a year or so until things improve.

...and you see the game for what it is. An unfinished action/adventure game with no RPG, no open world. You're just there for the ride. I admit, they did a great job with Keanu, but that alone doesn't support the game. The story is lacking any depth. It seems to go somewhere for a moment, but then fizzles into nothing, no real hard or meaningful choices. The protagonist wasn't likable in the beginning. No fighting for influence between the gangs and corps. Character development was a montage. There are very obvious shortcuts and I question if the PC version was ever playtested. From the non-moving (Jesus Christ Pose) NPCs, sound glitches, clipping, spawning errors, despawning errors, missing mission triggers, multiple calls at once bug, enemies and items flaoting in mid air, texture pop-in and out, the very screwed up economy and balance, stealth just not a viable strategy because NPCs can see through solid matter and hitboxes. Oh my, the hitboxes in someplaces are a nightmare. Also protip, if you are on PC use a controller for driving. It is utter garbage on a keyboard and you'll have a bad time. I really wanted to like this game to scratch that Deus Ex itch, however It has no more depth than an assasins creed or watchdogs game. Both of those had less janky controls and glitches. And at least Watchdogs had beter traffic and the city felt more alive. It's not all bad. It's gorgeous. Some of the references and easter eggs are hilarious. Some areas, the attention to detail is awesome. Some scenes are harrowing as well. It's just a shame it is always some and not most. I'd love to say I'd change my review later on, however, it's unlikely I'll invest the time to play again. They blew it.
