Nice visuals and atmosphere but I found the story rather disappointing after chapter 1, the whole plot might have worked better in a more linear game setting but not in an open world game with tons of side quests and activites.
Hello Cyberpunk Game Devs, I think you are rushed when developing the game or the game engine has bugs. Here are the list of my findings through the time I played the game. Let's just highlight the cons.
CONS:
- Ragdoll has no Collision events mostly
- Ragdoll don't die after being hit with a vehicle
- Cars if bumped upon triggers an event which will bump another car(s) wildly similar to cars playing soccer or the something, it so weird event.
- Click event or crosshair raycasting is not possible since no prefab was present on Intercom, Elevator, Character
- Character V's Bone Rig is messed up and is clearly visible on its shadow
- Cars camera is not binding when you start pressing accelerate, left and right. refer to other race games (exterior cameras)
- Vendors mostly in the world is not interact-able, always playing the loop idle animation
- Cars is not customizable!!! Cyberpunk 2077 Marketing Material (video) says otherwise that cars are costumizable
- Guns does not dismember the body parts of a Ragdoll/Character if collision event triggers from a weapon
- Characters sometime has the same clothing but with different body sizes
- NCPD / world police and Drone is magically spawing/Instantiating behind Character V after confrontation with world gangs across the map
- no character camera switching why is that? only possible in cars
- Cars is not Physically Damaged totally when triggering collision
- Buildings mostly are not accesible by open-world standard
sorry I uninstalled the game, played Witcher 3 GOTY instead. BANG FOR THE BUCK
game is a puddle deep with many long standing issues still not fixed. You should only play it for the story, and even then it never really explores the parts of the world not related to the narrative - even in side quests.
2.0 messes up a ton of what I enjoyed about the game. It used to have a pretty coherent skill system, but half of the skills need to be googled to understand what they do or how you level them. There are some bizzare choices, like making pistols require being cool or assault rifles somehow tied to the Shinobi skill. Quickhacking as a playstle feels much worse. There's now MMO style regenerating consumables for some reason. It feels like a new director came in and felt the need to tear down what someone else made. Something's also messed up between car chases and the new Bethesda level scaling.
