《赛博朋克 2077》

After eagerly awaiting the game to unlock soon the expectations and hype regarding playing a futuristic RPG where my choices had real impact on my story and in some form the gameworld were met with the reality it wasn't to be. Aimless NPC's march up and down the streets with little purpose or reason, other than to drop to a crouch, hands raised at the very slightest disturbance. Numerous other issues mentioned at great length elsewhere so won't rehash, but the enduring hope it would be rescued with updates. Add in all items gained lost upon reaching a certain point in the story, Keanu Reeves computer virus and weapon nerfs. Will most likely turn out ok if you want a FPS / weapon crafting game with mission / side mission structure. Most of the world lore and stories there in however will continue to exist in books and fan fiction set in this world rather than experiencing it within the game fully as touted. Not what I was hoping for TBH.

Pre 1.5 patch game worked albeit with some bugs and glitches but mostly ran fine. Patch 1.5 came out and excited to try the changes, game instantly crashes on boot with the flatline comment. Do not have Nahimic, tried disabling other audio drivers too, tried verifying game files. Nothing has worked, would give 0 stars if it let me.

still overpriced, overrated and buggy a.f. no comfort update as ell (sliders for steering eg). what have you done 2 years?

This game has been out for how long? I was excited to finally start playing the game but I've run into nothing but constant visual, audio, and quest bugs. I feel like I'm troubleshooting each time an issue comes up. Really hop the next major patch fixes the issues. For now, stay away!

This version has improved since launch and I still have crashes but it's less frequent. Previously, it would crash when I open the inventory, now it's just random spots. It runs smoother than launch and feels like a nice linear first-person RPG, some glitchy controls feel odd like driving, but the shooting feels decent. The story is very interesting, world is a little fun to explore and mess around, but small. I can't see much replayability other than customizing the character and vehicles. This version feels more complete and how it should have been at launch. The amount of bugs and crashes discouraged me off from playing this game any further after a really cool reveal in the story. I just watch playthrough videos to get the story, since it feels like the game doesn't have much replay value and the bugs are frustrating. Also the Galaxy version seems to require an internet connection and GOG Galaxy if you want to use any DLC, which feels like DRM. Even after the Phantom Liberty launch, this bug is still around. I'm not sure if ProjektRed has given up on making game DRM-free or they just don't care about this bug. They should at least update the site and remove the "DRM free" part. I feel a little betrayed by this company, I could have just gotten it cheaper on other platforms if I didn't mind DRM. I recommend this game for people that wants a Deus Ex-like experience. If the game gets more fixes it's definitely worth it on sale. Might as well get it whatever platform that's cheapest, since it seems like it requires an internet connection for DLCs (even the free one that's just skins).
