Missing most of the things that were promissed over the past 6 years. Right now, it's hardly worth playing even for the story. How was it even considered to be released in this state? It's a buggy-mess with next to none of the substance or depth that was promissed repeatedly.
Game runs great, no performance issues for me atlest. all games have bugs and they get work out over time. Ai improvments can be patched in.
But......
The game lacks details and content. The map and lvl design is on point and great eye candy but in terms of gameplay, so much missed opportunity.
Lack of weapon and equipment customization this one really got me. you get scopes and silencers. i was hoping it would have something closer to COD:MW lvl of choice. Not to mention just the complete lack of guns in general. And if you want to wear the good gear your going to look like a clown.. choose one look good and be behind the curve, or look like a missed matched goon that is bullet proof.
Crafting system is super dumbed down and fails probibly due to being tied to the lack of customization.
The cyberware could have gone ALOT deeper. Only one eye mod? and your givin it at the start?
No little touches like walking up to an arcade machine and playing some dumb mini games. No brain dances outside of quests. no or very little random world events.
So much food and it all is the same. It should have been done by eating at a vendor and give some witcher potion like buffs. No drugs (except 3 super vanilla ones)
skill tree is kinda a joke. (insert % bonus here)
I could go on, the game wants to be a sandwich, but it is only bread. I hope CDPR plans to do more then just patch bugs. I hope CDPR dosent try to sell me the rest of the game as DLC. I hope CDPR treats this as early acsess and adds content to this bread sandwitch. We dont need another Bethsda or ubisoft..... I love you CDPR and i wish you the best. PLZ get your shit together and make this game what it was ment to be. <3
Won't change the title cause they did and they can suffer the stain. Will actually edit this to a differnet rationg depending on if I can play the thing I spent $89.95c on. Can't recall a game that crashes before running? Hell, I tried playing Half life 2 back in the day with a truly weak PC. I could at least see the menu before it crashed unlike this broken game.
I can't play the game, it runs with not even 20 fps, when driving not even 10 and the sound is "cracking". I got all graphic settings to low/off, but despite the fact that my admittetdly not-so-good PC (even a bit more than) fulfills the minimum requirements to play the game it's torture to play. Unfortunatly, I can't experience anything of the story because of that.
The NPC-AI is desasterous, for example, I stop my car in an alley and the pedestriants just run into my car, play dead and the cops are called. That and the fact that, again, I am not able to play the game is very, very bad and I would recommend you NOT to buy the game at all or to wait until all issues are taken care off.
I won't give up hope that one day I can experience the streets of Night City, but for now, I have to accept that I am not able to do it.
[I am sorry for any errors, english is not my first language]
It wouldn't be 2020 without something going well, would it?
Uninspired and rushed.
Full of bugs.
Missing features that were promised all over.
Choices and lifepaths that matter about as much as Fallout 4 choices.
This is not a groundbreaking RPG setting a new standard; it's following everyone else's.
Imagine having so much goodwill from the cynical gaming community but then just throwing it all away after everything they built up with this game had been a lie.
"It's coming when it's ready.", yet the game comes out rushed and buggy.
"We leave greed to others.", yet the state of base consoles and the business of the game was censored. The game was released in the best interest of shareholders and not the gamers they so desperately want to please.
They have already admitted they lost trust, and you must be an idiot to give it back to them.
Game companies are always gonna end up like EA or Ubisoft, and they just were ahead of the curb.
Enjoy your "Monetization will be intelligent" multiplayer, sheeple.
