The game has been marketed as an RPG but the choices you make in do not matter at all. That is like the anti- definition of RPG. Police also spawn behind you even on tall buildings or in elevators. You cant even change your charecter look after the charecter creator(hearicuts something Witcher 3 even had) The AI in this game in non-exsistant too. None of the pedestriants react to you when you are shooting besides duckign all in unision with their fellow AI like some sort fo weird stage play.
Performace on my GTX 1080ti is abysmall too. I cant even get a 50FPS without turning everything to off or low at 1440P.
If you want an RPG go play Kingdome Come Deliverance, you will have more fun.
Cyberpunk 2077. After 6 years of its teaser trailer of 2012, we get to see the game. And it looks like it was going to be THE GAME. The best game of history.
It was supposed to be realeased in April of 2020. Gets delayed to September. Then to November. Finally to December. "Wow, they must be working hard to deliver the best experience to all of us". 8 million copies sold before its launch on the 10th of December.
10th of December:
-The game keeps the narrative formule inherited by The Witcher 3, which makes it very interesting and enjoyable.
-They have treated adult themes in a very well written way, so Im thankful that there are still creators which deliver adult games and stories, ignoring all the 21st century puritanism.
-The game looks incredible. Very high graphical quality and inmersion.
This are the only points the game is good at.
Also 10th of December:
-The game runs like shit. FPS inestability everywhere in the city. Frames drops from 60 to 35 in some places. Changing from Ultra to Low graphics settings has no effect at all. When im in idle, without moving, in Ultra settings, i have 60 fps, when i run, drops to 40.
(2080S - i76700k -32GB RAM-1440p)
-I have not experienced any crash, but im aware of the amount of people having them.
-Lots, and I mean LOTS of bugs. NPC clones walking in the street (7 NPCS with the same skin walking along together). People running in the air. Raining cars and no gravity affected drones are some that ive encountered.
-The IA is horrible. They dont react to your attacks, just stay in the same place till you have wasted 30 magazines.
-The driving its mediocre. No feeling of speed at all. If you park in the middle of street or wherever iy may disturb traffic, cars will not get going, they will remain stuck.
-Gunplay is ok, but nothing remarkable.
-Less variety of missions than The Witcher 3. Secondary missions are not as good as The Witcher 3 .
Maybe too much ambition, maybe too much smoke.
Dissapointment.
for some insane DLCs and modding. So maybe in a year or two this will be a REALLY good game. So far stay the hell away and buy the witcher 2 enhanced, it's better in every way. Yes even graphics, since i can be immersed there and not here. Shame on money greedy corporate folks. Seems like no new game is actually finished and good anymore.
Keanu Reeves does his best John Wayne impression as he reads an agressively horny unibomber's manifesto.
The rest of the game is just kind of work.
Your dialogue options are only:
- No
- Yes
- Yes, but with, like, feeling, I guess.
- Lore
- Lore
Riddled with bugs, all over the play, riddled with useless side jobs, the quest log is dense and unruly, I just can't even keep track and write down all the issues I have with this game just 30 hours in.
- The inventory system is awful. The economy is nonexistent and if you're someone that cares about a gun that does .2 more DPS then YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
- Crafting is useless
- Items you find are usless
- You spend hours navigating menus that are *just* too slow to respond worrying about which piece of armor gives you 1.2 more protection. WHO THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE FUN?? It's like no one on this team has ever actually made a game.
- The perks are useless- NO ONE IS IMPRESSED BY RECEIVING 15% MORE DMG or 5% less X or 2% more Y, it's fickle at best and PEDANTIC the rest of the time.
Maybe next time spend more effort on the gameplay and less time on pointless Chromatic Aberration and Ray Tracing.
Perfect way to ruin a perfect Tabletop Roleplaying Game.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TURN YOUR PASSION INTO CORPORATE WORK.
Such irony that the game preaches how terrible corpos are and yet CDPR is literally embodying the terrible nature that inspires the "rebellious" tone of this game.
It's too meta to handle.
If the No Man’s Sky devs can take that from a 1 to a 10, then I have no doubt that CDPR can eventually make this into the game it was always meant to be. It may mean even more waiting, but at least we have something to play in the meantime. I’m not going to excuse the bugs and graphical glitches because this game has been in development for eternity, and making the game functional should be the first priority. I will finish the main story and then put the game down for a while and check back in maybe six months down the road and see what has been updated. As the game improves over time, I will adjust my rating accordingly.
