I wish it had AMD FSR for older GPUs but it has rez scale. Cyberpunk is not the most polished game ever but do you expect those implants to work 100% of the time? The head of CDPR made a mistake with its release but the devs are making up for it with DLC and online. I also wish the arcade games were playable and there were more apartment items.
So, I'm done with the game, took me about 40-50h.
- German loc
- Nomad
- Okish PC (AMD Ryzen 5 2600, OCed Radeon 5700, High-Ultra Settings)
To get rid of the normal rumouring here:
- No FPS drops
- No crashes
- Only once a story blocking bug, reloading the last checkpoint helped.
And boy, this was way more than I expected!
...If you stand through the first 2-3 hours.
I bought this, refunded it, bought it again, for 50% off. After all, I would have payed full price for this, too.
The speak is lipsync, there was no will to use travel teleporting as night city is so awsome visually, etc. Yes, there are bugs here and there, but it never somehow destroyed the immersion.
What does is sometimes, that f.e. When ppl chat and you just listen, they barely get over 4-5 sentences and then the conversation stops. But thats all.
Im not the typical RPG-Player so I cant say a thing about that.
But:
Storywise, it was brilliant. Questwise, this is the best CDR-Project so far I assume. All the side quest are SO well and you always want more. For my luck there always was.
Blablabla:
So if you liked...
...Prey
...GTA
...Deus Ex
...Bio Shock
...and just a handfull of Life is strange
then pls buy this game!
I can't believe how fucking bad this game is. No amount of patches will salvage this clusterfuck. Who cares about bugs when the game itself is just extremely shallow. So much money, hype and effort for what? For Keany Reeves? Shit side-quests and awful characters? Edgy emo-story with no substance? Zoomer OST? Interface designed by a retard? Holy shit I dont understand what went so horribly wrong.
