I started played pirated version after watching Edgerunners. Sinked serveral hundred hours in it (I played more only Open Transport Tycoon, Eurotruck Simulator 2 and Diablo 2) so I buyed it and I am sad that only one DLC will come out.
I've owned the game since day one on GOG, so please don't even start for a second complaining with the classic "you don't even own the game".
Anyway, I'm not a CDPR fan but I LOVED the CP77.
The real problem is the HW update that seems to be necessary to run the game itself with patch 1.7 or whatever CDPR will want to call it.
I'm really looking forward to the hw reviews that follow on YT to this release... XD
IMHO, it's a scam. and it's bordering on illegal. and I hope any consumer association emerges with the class action that CDPR deserves.
They used a law that allows developers to communicate changes to the minimum requirements for the game with 30 days notice... but both here on steam and on GOG the detail still shows the original data. We all know that the law in question is obviously designed for free games or freemium games that count towards remuneration on in-app purchases, certainly not for triple-A production games. We all have a key to the game and, moreover, there are physical versions on the market and an update with requirements of this caliber essentially makes it impossible to have game continuity for anyone who has a PC that even reaches the RECOMMENDED requirements for the basic version.
Now, I understand the need to fix the old problems and improve the gaming experience… but that's certainly not the way.
Does CDPR therefore want to admit the intrinsic problems of the game? Optimal. Make a stand alone version 2.0, a sort of remastered version with updated requirements at a consistent price BUT don't force old players to undergo the patch with a legal trick of this type.
I tell you: CDPR will never see a single cent from me again. I mean: if u prevent me to play the base game i purchased here, u NEED to give my money back. The base game AND the DLC.
Absolutely unacceptable performance, CD Projekt Red. Cyberpunk 2077 used to run just fine on my system two years ago—but now, it crawls at a pathetic 7 FPS on the same hardware. The game is flat-out unplayable. Why? What changed? I’ve tried every fix imaginable, and nothing helps. It’s beyond frustrating.
I even bought Phantom Liberty a few days ago, hoping to dive back in—but I can’t even play it. Whatever you added or changed broke the game. Fix this mess.
This game has so much life, so many things to do, that throughout more than 32 hours of play, I feel that I still have to discover things; Without a doubt it is a seemingly infinite game in its secondary missions and tasks to be done; A game that is not for everyone, but is for true video game lovers.
