Awesome story with cool charachters you get attached to. Interesting open world and side quests to discover aswel.
Didnt have any crashes like peopole say, only some bugs that are more funy than game breaking.
Obviously a lot of stuff could be better like NPCs and tfraffic, etc but i trust cdpr. if you play games to have some fun and disconect from reality and not take it too siriously , i definitly recomend this game. oh and the music in this game is awesome.
It's an interesting and compelling tale from Night City. It actually makes me want to experience more in-depth tales of the people in Night City. The main story follows around V, who can have one of multiple backgrounds. She (or him, depending on the options you select) fights corporations, gangs and warlords, while helping fight crime. Sometimes she helps the cops mid-battle.
== Weapons ==
The combat takes center stage in this game with multiple types of weapons (pistols, shotguns, precision rifles, sniper rifles, etc). Each weapon comes in various flavors (tech, power, smart) which defines how the gun fires ammo. Ammo, food and grenades are all in abundant supply, so I never worried about running out of any of those.
== Cybernetics ==
V can add cybernetics to multiple points on her body, and all of them end up giving you a different edge in combat or in the game itself. For instance, I added a mod that slowed down time whenever an enemy could see me while I was hiding, this let me know I needed to move to become hidden better. I could ask for more variety though.
== Quickhacks ==
These are abstract objects representing software that you can use to do various things remotely in the Cyberpunk universe. This includes distracting enemies, blinding and deafening enemies, as well as getting extra money from vending machines. Hopefully, they add more.
== The City ==
Lots of gangs, corporations and squalor to explore. The city is pretty much the crown jewel of this game, it is fun to explore and discover new things. I found myself experiencing hopelessness while seeing the mountains of trash on the outskirts, and was amazed by the downtown core mega-buildings. All I want is more open doors!
== Story ==
I can't say much about the story, but lets just say that Keanu is in it, and the voice acting and CGI for all the characters is simply "breathtaking".
== Bugs ==
Please fix the inventory info-box flicker bugs, cut-scene bugs, and other major bugs CDPR!
I own this game on console (PS4 Pro) and on PC. I have played through Act 1 on all platforms, but have gotten significantly farther on PC. This is due to the fact that the PC version is the optimal version of the game. It is better looking, runs smoother, and is generally a better experience than the console version.
That being said, my experience on console was not entirely broken it was just wonky. Comparisons aside, let me get to the reason why I decided to write this review.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game for fans of immerisive sims, dystopian futures, and OG Deus Ex. This is not the BEST GAME OF ALL TIME. Nor is it necessarily groundbreaking in any meaningful way other than its graphical fidelity. But, this game is fun to play.
When it runs smoothly and without a hitch or glitch, it is a truly spectacular and immersive experience. Looking around is fun because of all the little details you can find on innocuous surfaces. It's impressive to breath in and experience a different and fleshed out world.
This is, I believe, a labor of love for the developers, but was just business as usual for management and leadership. Cyberpunk 2077 needed at least another year in development, but the laws of business and profits demanded a premature release despite it's undercooked state.
It's such a shame. This game COULD have been a milestone in gaming. It COULD have been a instant classic with a lasting legacy. Instead we got a half baked release that will forever mar the image of this product for no good reason other than: Money.
Running on Ryzen 7, GTX 1660, 8 GB RAM gets 1080p Ultra with framerate between 30-40. Really not bad.
I understand why a lot of people were disapointed with this game. It failed to deliver alot of what was promised, and had some issues with glitches. If you are willing to look past that and take the game for what it is, there is a lot to like. Dispite all of it's flaws, it's one of the best games of the year.
