TLDR after 85h: Amazing story Amazing music Amazing voice acting Amazing side characters Hilarious bugs and glitches Visually superb (as long as you accept <60fps 70% of the time)((played on a 2070 Ryzen 1600x both OC) Great sword/blades gameplay (thought I was playing as Wolverine) Now, some things to keep in mind to better set your expectations accordingly. This is where I messed up, and for a few days I was disappointment with it before I understood: 1. Do not come in with a W3 mentality and expect the same. While I liked the story and different endings, in terms of Quantity it does not compare. Quality is the same, but it has less story content, drastically less. This needs to be addressed through FREE DLCs, basically doing a FO76 2. Similar to the main story content, side-missions are few in number that actually matter and have good content. The one's that do are worth it 3. Crafting/Upgrade systems are not worth the investment. You find gear in the world the same or better. Diminishing returns on upgrades vs finding better gear 10min later 4. Leveling system needs a rework. On one hand, you level quickly compared to the length of the main story, but you find yourself OP fairly fast putting points in guns or melee. That is why I preferred to play Blades, for a challenge on Hard. I died many times, loved the challenge. 5. Game-breaking bugs? I had none, and that is none I could not fix through a prior reload. But, they do fix bugs, and I have seen progress from Day1, so it will get better. 6. I would have liked to see a lot more differences between the life paths, since the idea is a very good one, but the implementation is lacking content

Before you sit down to play Cyberpunk 2077 do yourself a favor. Go do the dishes. Walk your dog. Make lunch for tomorrow. Check all your messages. Check off every single productive thing you need to do for the rest of the day. Eat something, hydrate, use the restroom. Pour yourself a nice glass of brandy (or beverage of your choice), enough to calm the nerves and soothe the senses. Is it dark out? You've come this far, may as well wait for night to fall. Dim the lights. Put your phone on silent. If you need to remember to go to sleep at a decent hour set an alarm so you won't have to check the clock. Purge your life of all distractions and interruptions. Do whatever you have to do to convince your brain that you have earned a moment in time free of intrusive thoughts about real life. Set aside this hour or two not to casually dip your toes in an entertainment product, but to partake of a carefully crafted experience. Put on your headphones and fully immerse yourself in Night City. Connect with your character. Put yourself fully in their shoes. Want what they want. Think about their background, the brutal world they live in. Sympathize with their motivations. Dream of getting rich and becoming a Night City Legend. Now you are ready to pursue the story. For your efforts, your reward will be panic, adrenaline, occasional relief, and a genuine concern that your heart should not be pounding that hard. The main plot has very carefully curated moments of extreme tension. The sound design in these moments is masterfully done to push you over the edge into raw panic. Some people will complain that not every far flung corner of the massive open world kept them continuously entertained, but that does not matter to me. If you have ever wanted to experience the pants-shitting terror of being on the receiving end of a heist gone wrong, do your prep-work and experience the very well told story of this game.

Hello there, Despite all critics and negative noises behind this game that are saying that it is dissapointment. I must say that its not. I love this game, mechanics, the world itself. Everything is perfectly carved for my personal taste. the thing is that you need to know how to enjoy yourself in this massively immersive world of sex, guns, and violence. Message for impatient fools. This game needs few tweaks that make it running in no time. stay cool would you? CDPR good work btw.
