《赛博朋克 2077》

I have played it for over 300 hours, playing through it twice to make sure I got everything out of it hoping there's more. Hoping I've just missed it cause of the choices I made and playstyle. Do NOT believe any of the ads, videos, promo materials, shop descriptions and the few positive reviews. The game is not what is advertised. It's a scam and from all the whistleblower devs it was a completely planned scam by the leadership team. I regret every cent I spent on it (and I went out of my way to buy it here to fully support the team behind it) and I regret every minute I spent in the game that left me ultimately unsatisfied for what it was supposed to be. It's a beautiful game with stunning visual design covering up a shell of an unfinished game that has been mismanaged with fake game presentations and staged gameplay all the way back to the beginning. What was supposed to be a leap in game design and development will ultimately put the whole industry back years behind because of mistrust and continued spreading of lies by the leadership even to this day. DO NOT BUY. Wait for the inevitable 90% discount in a few years when the modding community makes the game actually playable - not because of bugs (which are aplenty) but because of the underlaying flawed and unfinished game design. Shame.

They sold as an RPG game but they delivered a bad shooter/adventure game. This is not a proper RPG title and has never been. Bugs? Plenty. AI is bad? Yes. All of these can be fixed with time, but the game is not what they promised. The choices you make are not meaningful, the perk system is laughable, dialogues are shallow, character customization is not great either, and where are the consequences? Why do I feel that everything around me doesn't change, evolve, or even react to my character? Gosh, how can they mess up so badly? Even the most basic things like creating a dual system were armour points and cosmetics are separated - so people can build their characters, wear the clothes they want. Pros? Beautiful graphics and city design but, unfortunately, these are the only pros IMO.

This is not the RPG game we were promised. The city feels dead and empty, there's no consequences for your acts, the game is completely linear except at the very end, so is not worthy of replays (just load a save-game before the end and see most of them), and that without talking about all the missing features. I'm definitely not gonna pre-purchase any new CDPR game in the future.

I'll ignore the bugs because all bugs can eventually be patched. The Witcher series wasn't without bugs and while Cyberpunk's bugs are in a league of their own, they can be fixed. However my biggest gripe about the game is how basic an open world RPG it is. It's unfair to compare but compare I shall. This is a game that would be better watched than played. The story is interesting. The characters are interesting. The lore is kinda interesting. The controls are basic. The AI is pedestrian and the pedestrians are worse. In no way does Night City feel lived in. Dialogue choices don't really affect the game and neither does your character's features or gender? Drive down an alleyway and see something interesting? Nope, it's another eccentric, neon clad character with a single dialogue choice. But surely the seedy underbelly of Night City would make it dangerous to visit some alleys? Nope, run of the mill bad guy AI. Equip a few weapons with headshot multipliers and you've won. Forget the stealth. Sneak, kill, hide a body. Hack a few things to get a lay of the land and distract. I got more satisfaction with stealth in Watchdogs 2 than this game. Driving is kinda fun but the vehicles aren't very impressive. It doesn't really seem like any vehicle is different from the other. Just a nice cosmetic bodywork tacked on. Subpar Grand Theft Auth. I don't recommend buying this game until they've released a few dozen patches and maybe included some DLC's. Only then is it worth the current price tag.

This was an overhyped disaster of a game with very limited control. Watch Crowbcat's YouTube video "overpromise, sell, underdeliver Cyberpunk 2077" to get a better idea of how bad this is. Not worth the time or money. Avoid this trash game.
