Instead of patching bugs they introduce new game breaking bugs. In patch 1.1 a main mission telephone call with takemura just never ends. I get the feeling cdpr are just incompetent, that do not know what they are doing at all.
The release version did run better then the current version and had better grafics. It is really not fun.
I knew the game wont live up to the hype but this isnt even close to what was advertised. Serveral (important) functions and elements are missing. I cant name them all because the list would be to long but here is a list what Im missing:
- relevant gameplay and dialogue choices
- interesting Character costumization, especially life paths that change anything
- interaction with NPCs (doesnt matter if police or crowd they dont do shit)
- basically anything RPG related. ( but I'll admit there is a skill tree, seems like that is enough to call a game rpg now lol)
- stability. The game is a fucking mess, buggy af.
So all in all its a linear action adventure, with pretty average to boring gameplay elements and even without listening to advertisment its just not a good game.
Very disappointing. Next CDPR game will be pirated before buying.
This game has so much potential with but didnt live up to the hype. My complaints: quests that can't be completed, character getting stuck and having no way of moving, NPC's with half their bodies burried in the floor, cybernetic eye malfunctioning, not being able to pick up items, NPC's attacking me for no reason, cars exploding on their own, character running slow regardless of my inventory weight, NPC's disapearing into thin air. The video games industry doesnt even try to earn your money anymore this has to stop.
This game is totally unpolished and underdeveloped. The way NPCs engage with you is totally unrealistic, there is no visible automation or any futuristic tech. Sure there might be drones to kill, but you can't hack and control them (you can in Watch Dogs Legion), sure there might be an AI Taxi - but he can't drive you anywhere (there are self-driving cars in Watch Dogs Legion), you get a fun spider robot to play with - but you can only play with it for one mission (you always have a spiderbot in Watch Dogs Legion). Watch Dogs Legion feels more dystopian, more real, and more high-tech, not to mention it has less bugs and runs better.
Cyberpunk's developers don't seem to be mentioning the lack of customization or lacking dialogue options at all, only talking about bug fixing. It's not just bugs that need to be fixed.
