I played this at launch. Have not played it since i did 2 full playthroughs back then. Had almost no bugs. And on my 2080ti this ran really smooth. If I didn't know better I'd say those saying different lived in a different world. Enjoyed the shit out of it. Well worth the money.
Waiting for substantial story expansions before returning.
Almost anything in this world can be better. Same goes for this game. Was it worth the money (only question relevant to the discussion)? Hell yes.
Scores: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Bad, Very Bad, Awful.
- Performance: Good (Very demanding game. Few frame drops. Running at 60fps, 1440p, with an i7 10th gen, 3070RX. Funny bugs and glitches all over the place).
- Art style: Excellent (The city is spectacular!)
- Gameplay: Good (Stealth mechanics are okayish, gunplay as well)
- Story: Very Good (The main campaign is fine, side missions some good, some bad)
- Sound, Music, Voice: Excellent.
At a current state, worth it at a reduced price. The bugs and glitches will break the immersion constantly
I don't think I enjoyed a game as much as Cyberpunk for it's story in a while. Not the written story (decent to great at times), but the story written by the world. Functionality of a lot of the day to day tasks, it really sold that the place you are in sucks, and so long as you stick with the other poor's then you can get away with a great deal.
There are bugs, I only had a few, but they are there and the few really did feel like a lot. It actually brings up my major complaint which WAS no modding tools. They took a page from Todds book, and realized that Sandbox RPG's are waaaaay to complex to try and tackle all issues without a community to do all of your work for you.
Music is meh, I went in expecting it to be as licensing for these sorts of games has became an issue. I was hoping that they added a news channel to sort of pontificate what changes I had made, but that's a different rant. What I did not expect was the sound design, it is just tasty. I loved it, and it really just cements the world sometimes. There are alot of times where it's just you and ambient noise, and it really felt like a futuristic world that is in many ways not so distant.
I don't know what to say honestly, the sum of the aspects of the game do not make up the whole. It should be a 3, but I loved it, it kept having new things that where overall enjoyable. I can't say you will like it, but I can say that bar a gamebreaking glitch, I suspect you will not hate it.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a wonderful game. The graphics are good. I didn't have bugs or any problems with the games. and the soundtrack is just wonderful. Easy Controls. Perfect Story. wondeful characters.
I don't understand the others complains about downloading issues or start up crashes. Everything worked fine for me.
I love this game. Definitly 5 Stars. Try it out.
