Even with the buggy release that occured, coming back to this a year later and experiencing the game properly for the first time is unreal.
The game will leave you stunned and wanting to keep coming back.
+ The endings are written beautifully.
January 2013 - CP2077 trailor dropped.
Hopped on the hyper-train.
Brag about the game to all my friends.
June 2019 - preordered the game instantly.
Even purchased the game on GOG instead of Steam so CDPR can get all my money.
Prompted my friends to buy the game on GOG as well.
December 2020 - what the actual f**k is this?
Will never recover from the insane disappointment and embarrassment.
1 stars for teaching me the hard lesson to never preorder another game ever again.
If you love Cyberpunk genre, like Deus ex or Bladerunner, and also RPG, this is the ultimate game. A lot of people have been complaining about bugs, I have not noticed any, and the game runs extremely well on my soon 5 year old 1080gtx 4970k setup (with a gsync monitor). Graphics and immersion are insane, no other game I have ever played achives this level, none. With patches/mod support/updated drivers from ATI (my nvidia drivers seem to work perfectly with optimized performance) this will be a legendary game for everyone, not only for me. The effort it must have taken to create this game is mindboggling.
This is a great game! I am several hours in exploring the world and I am loving it. Is this game perfect and bug free no I have yet to see a massive RPG that is but to me at least the strengths of the game far out weigh any bug. If you really want to enjoy this game just it is easy to get lost in the world of Night city and just have fun. The thing i like most about the game is how your choices matter and the freedom that you have. CD Projekt Red has truly done the world of Cyberpunk justice in my opinion and for those who know the lore will find interesting tidbit every where.
First off, I wanna say that I'm really enjoying the game. I haven't been sucked this much into a game since The Witcher 3. However, I do think it's really annoying that you can't change your appearance past the character creation screen at the beginning of the game. I mean even in The Witcher 3 you could do that, and this game is supposed to be more expansive. So after 12 hours in, I'm stuck with red hair that I mistook as brown lol. I noticed it in the beginning and thought, "oh well, I'll just get a haircut later," and am now screwed. I really hope they change this, because I feel like it's really stupid that it wasn't implemented in the first place; especially for a game that's supposed to be "groundbreaking."
