A masterpiece!
This game is mesmerizing. The artwork, the music, the sound effects, the npc voices, the general atmosphere, the artistic and professional use of shaders, all the UI assets, the way it progresses, I could list all of it's elements. Wait did I mention the music? Oh god the music! I've been seeing this game on twitter for a loooong time and went in blind, once pre-orders were announced I stopped looking at any promo/art/dev post and bought it as soon as it was available. I'm glad I did. Came in expecting nothing aside that I'm a lamb and it's something about managing a cult. If you want something to just zone out to and take in a wonderful experience, this game delivers it well. Every time I pick it up I just can't put it down. I often just stop to look at the game world, take in the music and just smile at the little lamb's expressions. The experience is simply unmatched. I've often been sucked into games that deliver incredible atmospheres and this one managed to create an experience that is unique and can sit among the best with its own identity. They had some incredible talent on the team! At times I feel it moves too fast. One example is exploration. Wasting time neglects other parts of the game, but I can also flip that and say that it adds to the experience. You aren't alive to be sightseeing. You are doing the bidding of a very veeeeeeery dark power and others depend on you! 10 lambs of out 10!
