Maximum Game

I forgot how much fun this game was when I was 12 years old. I don't remember the AI being this aggressive but that's okay because running circles around dudes, punching them in the face or choke slamming them never gets old. Stealth is still possible but just very difficult and feels rewarding when you pull it off. You will need to use the cloak ability A LOT. Graphics are still really good despite the low polygon textures on certain objects.

Finishing Crysis original and then the Remastered shownn me how great the game is. After all those years, it is still very fun

Hyped game was back then, mediocre today

I played this back then and my memories were better. Now I played again and I see flaw after flaw. Creeping on enemies is still fun, but the amount of bugs and glitches are high. One thing I don't understand, there is a graphics setting "Can it run Crysis?". On High it is the same but fluid, on that, my PC is screeming and the graphics didn't better. At least for my eyes. I hope Crytech mined enough with my rig... Anyway, for PC, buy the old one instead of this. Remastering this way was pointless.

Annoying old fashioned checkpoint system. But well worth a play.
