The beauty still holds up
It was the most beautiful game ever when it was released and I'm surprised it still holds up in 2025 in terms of graphics and gameplay. A good experience overall even now.

Another GOG Win for Crysis fans
Glad to see that the Crysis Remastered series made it onto GOG. I jumped right in and got all 3 - despite purchasing the original games years ago and playing them over and over again. Great games. Everything I look for in an FPS game is here - from the golden age of FPS shooters. Great action, excellent story, excellent visuals, lots of different environments to explore, and so on... Best of all... being on GOG, means NONE of the DRM and/or paywall nonsense that happens on other gaming distribution platforms - as others have mentioned. Perhaps at some point, Crysis Warhead will get remastered and sold here. I will happily add that to my library.

Pretty cool, but so much retconning
So Prophet changed voices, even in the flashbacks, fair enough. Psycho did as well though, and he changed nationalities to become offensively British for whatever reason... Nomad died, when? Off screen. Grenades explode when you hold them, I wonder what the devs thought the striker lever was for... That they had no-one veto this idea is pretty nuts to me. Other than those nitpicky things it seems like a nice enough time and I haven't had much issues with bugs.

Wonderful game right until the end
Crysis 1 & 2's stealth always was a preliminary step to a firefight, Crysis 3 by comparison refined this by giving you the bow, and building the encounters around it. You can still go guns blazing, but you can also use the bow to take down enemies silently, or switch arrows to create powerful and great effects.
