I have been playing earlier version and it did have lots of bugs, crashes, etc., but was still fun...
updated to anniversary update and it will not even start now, sigh...
not even beta quality at this point and it appears to be going down hill, sadly its a definite do not buy.
So little explanations, so many things to find out. And when you`re done with the tutorial and start your Inn again from scratch, the first time I select "more information" in the menu, the game freezes and I have to restart my computer.
Nope. I would have liked it, I know that, but I`m done with games which freeze while your doing ... nothing, but what you just have to do.
It`s sad, because it looks very nice, but a game from 2019 should not crash while doing something completely normal in the course of playing. An IF it crashes, you shouldn`t have to restart your machine.
It's buggy and just barely working. I am excited to see what it's going to be when it's ready, but this was not ready for release. You guys jumped the gun...
I'm going to spew a lot of hate all over this game and moreso its so-called "developers", so if you're a nancy little tyke or the like that can't stand someone ragging on something that's objectively horrible, don't bother continuing to read this review.
Now that that's done with, let's get to the verbal spanking!
This "game" is by far the worst game I've played in recent years. Granted, I'm a savvy gamer/customer/general human being and I rarely if ever buy things that I suspect will be at all horrible, but hoo-boy this one took me by surprise! I mean, WOW! We're talking Guinness World Records level of "wasted potential" and "most immature responses to well-deserved criticism" here!
Let's start with the tutorial. Oh, wait... there isn't any. Now normally I'd concede to there being a *general possibility* that the so-called "devs" have patched that in like other devs have done for their respective games, such as Volcanoids, Subnautica, etc., but given that there are issues in this game that've persisted for about a year now... yeah. Let's be honest, they haven't fixed that.
Bugs? Check. Got plenty of 'em in this mess. Hell, if you're looking to get a game which you yourself can set a Guinness World Record of quitting out of from perfectly justifiable sheer disgust and revulsion over its unplayable state of utter cringe-inducing bugginess and unreliability, then go ahead. Buy it, play it for 10-15 minutes (if you can even manage that, really) and then refund it like any sane person would.
But I think what I hate the most about this garbage is the so-called "developers". They have here a nearly unique concept for a game that in the hands of competent game designers would possibly be on the level of Surviving Mars in terms of depth and enjoyability, but they've completely wasted it by not just ignoring but even contemptfully telling people off for complaining about the game's bugginess!
In closing, I'll never buy ANYTHING from these so-called "devs" again. EVER.
