Cronos: The New Dawn is far and away the best work Bloober Team’s put out and a splendid survival horror game in its own right. What starts as a post-pandemic Dead Space cover version becomes its own brand of scary that conditions paranoia into its players with undeniable expertise. There's a great script to go with the A-grade psychological puppeteering, and the whole package deserves to be seen as a genre classic.

Cronos: The New Dawn has an excellent, thoughtful premise that feels dark and dangerous, but does a poor job of executing on its promising sci-fi ideas. A questionable religion born from trying to save the world in the face of a rampaging disease with clear parallels to the global pandemic we all recently experienced is great fodder for a story, but I was left shrugging my shoulders by the end. Thankfully, the gameplay, though familiar, offered plenty to pull me through the approximately 12-hour experience to see the end.

Premature aging
I swear I'm aging myself prematurely with these horror games.. but I can't NOT play them!! Anyhoo, my wife seems to find it amusing when I scream like a pansy :-/

A Full Survival Horror Meal
If you like survival horrors, you are going to like this game, it checks every survival horror game element: scarcity, feeling vulnerable, etc. My only gripe with the game is the lenght of it, I finished the game in 16 hours but I feel like the game could've been a 10 to 12 hours long game and be as good or even better.

Survival Horror SCIFI oh how I miss you
While its less scary than dead space 1, just having the scifi feeling is great and welcoming again. Gameplay is solid and every shot and heal counts. No crashes 6hrs in (knock on wood) and no weird/gameplay hurting glitches. Glad GOG got this one man
