Cossacks II: Battle for Europe:
Let the battle begin! The Cossacks II: Battle for Europe add-on continues the renowned Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars game. It depicts the rather short historic period of the Napoleonic wars. The Napoleon wars changed Europe forever, leading to the formation of empires and putting an end to almost one thousand years of constant strife between small states. The game provides mass-scale battles between thousands-strong armies of the nations involved in conflicts during this period. The theatres of operation introduce France, Britain, Austria, Russia, Prussia, Egypt, and three nations not represented in the original game – Spain, the Grand Duchy of Warsaw (Poland), and the Confederation of the Rhine.
Cossacks II: Battle for Europe reconstructs in detail the soldiers' uniforms weapons and architecture of each nation. Each nation's army has its unique units and possibilities. The game includes over 180 units 190 buildings and 1200 flora and fauna elements. When developing the combat system the peculiarities of early 19th century warring were taken into account as was the value of formations provisions and troop morale. Tactical tricks utilized by military commanders of the time are fully reflected in the game. An "honest" system of bullet and cannonball ballistics based on physics is an innovative addition to the Cossacks engine. Other engine features include 3-dimensional landscaping which creates realistic-looking scenery and towns and impacts combat tactics. For example the firing range of a subdivision of soldiers or a cannon positioned at the top of a hill is greater than the firing range of a unitstationed on flat terrain.

Stutter Issues On Windows 10
Game stutters heavily and runs worse than other store versions of the same game. Hopefully this can be resolved with some updates soon. The stutters make the game unplayable, therefor avoid until fixed.

unplayble
I have a w7x64 and after many tries I managed it to run, but sadly on my setup it was still broken even inside game (graphic artifacts, half of screen full of some "noise" and so on). It is probably not a bad game itself but the technical problems make it unplayable. (users of version from the other big online game store have similar critique so it is probably broken everywhere)

So laggy it is not enjoyable
The game lag with few unit in tutorial stage. And at tutorial where I first have to shoot enemies ,it lag even more. I can't scroll through my screen freely at all. And that's just Tutorial stage....

Problems with Windows 7
Hello, the game would not run installing it on a PC with windows 7 ultimate 64... I found that some one pointed out that it needed direct play... It was the same error message that others got. Now I then tried it on a second PC also with windows 7 ultimate 64 and it works there... When installing on this PC I was very carefull not install any compromised windows 7 hotfix. It also could be that I had installed the necessary files, when installing other older games and finding a solution, when not running... But as it is, buying this with windows 7 is hit or miss... it should bring any file needed and run with every version... I haven't played it yet, I just wanted to contribute to the Windows 7 issues...
