Best Remedy Entertainment game to date
Awesome game from start to finish. Make sure to get DLCs. They are just as good as the main game. I highly recommend it. Well done Remedy.

Magnificent Supernatural Thriller
Another masterpiece by Remedy, Control exceeded my expectations quite a bit. The quality of the writing is, as usually, magnificent, and the worldbuilding is very considerate and thoughtful. The universe Remedy built is multi-facetted, morally ambiguous and reflects the dialogism that is so important in narrative (you have the Bureau's narrative, counter-narratives to it in the form of the conspiracy theories found in letters, the Board's mysterious goals, the mystery surrounding all the supernatural paraphernalia happening around you). While the budget was clearly small (janky facial animations, most cutscenes are very simplistic, much of the lore and story is told through written or spoken collectibles that have little to no visual elements at all), they certainly did a great job with it. The open world also feels rewarding, as there are numerous secrets, side quests, and hidden areas to discover, using the powers you acquire throughout the game. The combat is also a step up from Remedy's previous games, as you now have a far more developed progression system than the simplistic skill-point system of Quantum Break. The looter aspects of the game can be either fun or annoying depending on your position on loot in general. They add a lot of replayability and allow you to make your own builds and test them out, but this will also lead to more time spent on crafting in what is essentially a story-driven game. Nonetheless, I highly recommend the game to anyone who is into supernatural action games. It will not disappoint you.

Fantastic, but not for everyone
Another Sam Lake genius. If you're not into horror or copmlex sci-fi stories, it's not for you. If you didn't like the first Max Payne, Alan Wake or Quantum Break, this game is not for you. Gameplay and story are unique and interesting as usual with Sam Lake games. Main character is great and I enjoyed the acting/voice acting.

Masterpiece
If you are a huge fan of the SCP Foundation series. You can relate to this game alot. Has that horror atmosphere but doesn't scare the crap out of you. Everything in the game is also photo-mode worthy. I think I've taken a couple of hundred shots now just for the perfect angle and filter. I truly experienced the "Remedy"-ness of this game. Story + Gameplay are in good balance. Replayability is ok (I didn't put too much praise on this because once you know how to solve the puzzles the game becomes quicker). This game is must have and I hope to see more from Sam Lake (Also the creator of Max Payne, one of the best story games ever).

Good game with technical problems
I would definitely not buy game at full price - got it for 50% (~19 EUR), at 60% is even better deal. The story is good, gameplay mechanics fun - I enjoyed the game even if I skipped most of the documents (sorry, don't have time to read all of them). Whispers and music makes nice atmosphere, even if I am not very involving in game I play. Graphics are _ok_ - there is one pretty area (black rock quarry) but other than that I it's just ok, a bit too greyish for me. What sucks is game optimization - I would expect more FPS from my rig (comparing to other games with similar graphics); a very annoying stutter happens every time you press TAB key (map view). Game was crashing at some spots repetitively - there are some articles over Internet, for me helped switching between DX11/DX12 launcher but it took me a while to find a solution, very frustrating. I wanted to give 3 stars but I realized how I enjoy good writing and this game have couple of moments that makes me smile - travel through labyrinth with cool music or "Dynamite dr. Darling" (don't google it before you play) and characters like Dylan, so decided to give 4 stars.
