devs forgot to make it fun, retards say otherwise

This has to be one of my top five biggest video game disappointments of all time. For all the hype around ray tracing, this game seriously fails in the graphics department. Too many times in combat (especially the last area), I'm surrounded by so much flashing red and black smoke I can't see what's going on. One of the main characters (Emma) is DEEP in the uncanny valley. As bad as Andromeda. All the areas look the same. Lots of different quality textures are thrown together. It's a mess. And when you reach a new area, you have big while letters pop up in the middle of the screen to tell you where you are! It completely blocks your field of view. All the areas in the game feel the same. The gameplay is so boring. Enemies are always a nuisance, teleporting in at random to ambush you, while backtracking through areas. It's just not fun. I found myself running past them most of the time. The map itself is also the biggest piece of design garbage I've ever seen. I've a video game lore lover, and always hunt down every tidbit I can. This game tries to sound deep, metaphysical, and sciency. But in the end, most of it turned out to be nonsense. The story itself is also incoherent. The characters are flat, there's no real progression, the videogamey-ness of it all overshadows any plot... Seriously, it's not worth the space on your hard drive.

2 stars for being overpriced... Just bought on steam for 22, ultimate edition. Might want to lower the prices to competitive levels, guys ;) Oh hey look!! That idiot posted on GOG again blabbing incoherently about how this game is for gals because you're "forced" to play as a female character. Smdh 1/5 for trolling clownboi. Still hilarious and this pathetic entity just did the same thing on HZD!! Can you be more transparent with the fact you've never touched a woman? Dear god it's sad lol ;)

I've never heard of this game before so I searched for this very question. Can I play as a male character? The answer is no. And that is OK. This game is for girls. I am a boy. I like to experience a game as a boy. Not as a girl. Because I am not a girl. I've never played a game with a girl character and I will not be playing this one as well. I think it is great that there are games for girls. Girls like to play games too and they should be able to experience games as a girl. Have fun playing ladies!
