Free play mode?
Not a bad game but, 1 fatal flaw...I don't consider Build,Build,Build to be free play mode at all. If you have to deal with little tasks thrown at you that could culminate in the loss of buildings,finances and even get you SACKED and thrown out of the simulation then that is not free and unincumbered play thats scenario or mission play. For that reason alone this game gets 2 stars

Painful design then, abysmal now.
As much as I tried liking this game, I couldn't get around all the vain effort to try to play it correctly. The interface is painful, the readability is non existent, everything seems so much obfuscated. The premice was interesting, the execution is abysmal. All in all, this is as unpalyable as it was 20 years ago. The design choices were already painful then, they feel even worse now. You can do better than pass your time trying to domesticate this.
