Conflict: Desert Storm is a first/third-person shooter that features modern military operations. You take control of a four-man squad: sniper, rifleman, demolitions expert, and heavy weapons expert. In addition to that there is an excellent multiplayer mode in which you can challenge your friends on numerous maps and gameplay modes. not THAT bad
this was one of my first ps2 titles along with ffx. i played and loved conflict desert storm 1 and 2. they didnt hold up the greatest but they arent THAT bad.

Solid tactical action war game.
If you like managing a small team in a war-zone this is a simple and fun game. There's a little bit of cringe-inducing political propaganda in the story that glorifies the US Army a wee bit too much but you can get over that the atmosphere is appropriate. It's basically Black Hawk Down tactical action game. I will definitely try out the sequel too in the near future.

Why people saying this game looks bad
This game literally looks the same or better than Ghost Recon, but it came out around the same time. It's setting and story is not really worse than Ghost Recon, a bit less dramatic and hugging what was happening at the time to a degree. This game was a blast to play on Xbox, and it was very good compared to the offerings on that system.
