Censorship to the Extreme
I was excited to buy this game until I read the other reviews talking about how this game is heavly censored. Will skip buying this game. I dont support fascism.

Sub Average Re-Interpration
Commandos 2 is in my top 3 games of all times. I was looking forward to this remaster and really wanted to like it. The whole game feels like fan-remake within the Unity engine now. So many elements are popping out from the background, lots of bugs and it does not feel like the original did... In fact the original + the HD Mod is a way, way, way better game than this. Also the missing coop MP is a dealbreaker: I almost exclusively play this game cooperatively. Kalypso: I would throw money at you for reviving this genre. Take a look what Mimimi does and add more complexity...

Will skip
One of my favorite games, but reading the other reviews about the heavy censorship, I will not buy it. Let this be a lesson to developers, censorship doesn't sell.

Commandos 2 HD re-worsten
Im so, so sad what this game became to! I was so happy to see that this game get a graphic improvement to modern day resolution but as soon as I started the game I was socked. Where is the old main menu? Where is the old menu music? Where I can create a player? Where is the multiplayer option? Ok lets start the game! Graphics seems to be okay but what a minute! Where are all the signs what was in the ORIGINAL game? Might be a glitch. No its not. Even the Japanese signs were removed! Why? Its like removing parts of our history = censorship! Why? But back to the game! Lets trade items. Cant. It trades but its not. Wait, did he just drop it on the ground? Where is the commando unit? Its behind the texture!! Lets see where the enemy guys on the map! Its not working! yay! Im trying to run with the spy with a colonel uniform and they shoot me from a 100 yard! because a colonel cant be in a hurry! Lets shoot them! If the NPC colonel is running who cares, right? The NPC regular soldiers can shoot from way much longer range than a commando unit with the same weapon! Yeah a simple soldier can shoot further than a specially trained commando unit! An explosion in the middle of the Uboat base? who cares? Regular soldiers just simply chilling around! Ok lets put down some mines! Pack is running toward the mine! boom! wait, what? Only the 1st person died from the mine explosion who touched it the rest? oh they are perfectly fine! Ok exit, uninstall , install the original - installing HD project and wow! everything works nice, no censorship, no bugs, no stupid trade fails. Sorry guys but you failed in only but one thing: simply update the graphics and polish the game a little bit! Was it that so hard? and companies are still wondering why people dont buy original games!
