Fantastic writing and mechanics
I can't personally say that Undying is scary, but the story is riveting and smartly paced. Classic.

A hidden gem
Undying is a horror shooter from my childhood that never got the acclaim it deserves. In it, you play Patrick Galloway, irish supernatural investigator and action hero who is on a mission to uncover the secrets of the curse on the Covenant family. You dual wield, gun in one hand and various spells in the other, fighting various weird and demonic creatures. There is a good variety of spells, some offensive, some defensive, some utility. Music holds up, but the graphics are rather dated, being early-ish 3D. Textures not bad, but the models are simple. The game is still good at keeping up a spooky atmosphere. I always felt this game desevered more acclaim than it got in this day, but nowadays it's a fun but dated horror adventure.

An overseen classic masterpiece
Classic horror game set on a remote island, on this island an old mansion with a long history , currently experiencing paranormal activity. Very atmpospheric and original game for its time clearly drawing inspiration from old ghost stories. Would make an interesting experience even for new players, looking to take a dive back in time to classic nostalgic feeling games.

One of the best Horror FPS
Great setting, great narrative. The game, with its Lovecraftian themes, packs a story condensed into hours of gameplay, yet also encompasses a complex and vast lore. The protagonist is legendary.
