Intriguing Story
I like the story and the tactical part of the combat. The limited exploration is fine also. The one thing I don't like is the QTEs. I have never liked them, though in this case, at least missing it doesn't mean instant death. So I take away a little bit because of the QTEs. Everything else has been fun for me.

Best modern JRPG
This is honestly the most beautifully artistic game I've ever played in terms of writing, world building, artwork, and music. How all of them combined together for this master piece has honestly never been done before to this level. This isnt a game is "open" world to explore. This is a game that tells a story. It is an art piece. And it is the best one at that. GOTY for me for sure, possibly game of the decade too!

Solid Combat System
So, it's got a solid combat system, mixing turn based actions and quick time events. There also a good story, graphics, and a really good soundtrack.

Non-spoiler tips for 1st playthrough
For best experience: Play Act I, finish Act II...at the start of Act III, you can do "companion quests"...then go straight back to the main mission. You can do side missions after the finale. Sidetracking too much in Act III will make you OP and you'll have to nerf yourself...not too terrible, but it takes a lot of wind out of the main mission and finale.
