Only correct
The shootings are very fun, the action is fast and the soundtrack is simple but well done. However, level design is too simple, nothing original and repetitive. At the end, Is designed to make an exaggerated number of enemies appear in all directions, creating a rather poor artificial difficulty. Considering that its duration is 3,5 hours in difficult mode, If I were you, I would wait for a good sale.

Best
The game which I've enjoyed the most. To bad it is not also on Linux . Superb music. Enchanting scenery. Real heart palpitations. My favorite parts- the scenery oh my Lord! such scenery, so good I would have made so many masterpieces from the game. I would have enjoyed even just walking in this game. The guns- art on show. The skills points and the ability to develop on your way gives the supreme edge for a banal shooter.It becomes a strategy game. Music - that has been a new discovery for me. Raw country music with some rock; delightful. The multiple plots, diverse enemies and styles of fight - just fascinating. Shooting in scenery for an edge, or birds for fun, as you are falling. Splitting dynamite in the air. Better then any western movie. I do not need better graphics. Just open world and more scenes where to use a bit the brain and stealth. More righteous indignation – like the revenge of the blood and fight for a better world and pile and piles of more missions. Wish there would just be other at least 10 games like it. The only one on the market. Good taste for all the details. Cheers for the best team. Thanks GOG for managing all my saves and accomplishments over the years and on working stations.

After the horrible "Call of Juarez: The Cartel", Techland went back to their roots and created the best COJ. Highly recommended.

The Wild West
I really enjoy this gem. This was the final installment of the series (as far as I'm aware) and is the best of them. The story starts with a old gunslinger going into a small town and people start asking who he is when he enters a saloon. He claims that he is a famous bounty hunter and begins to tell different stories of famous outlaws he had killed throughout his career. The gameplay is smooth and fun. It has a arcade feel to it (in a good way) that keeps you coming back for more. You have a small skill tree to help you play the way you like. The graghics hold up nicely but can still run on a toaster. If you like feeling like your a badass cowboy out for vengence, this game does a good job. I highly recomend if your into single player shooters.

Fun for a little while
The coolest thing about this is probably the way that aspects change as the first person narrator changes details in the retelling. It does legitimately let you experience a lot of cool Western legends. Some of them are just pointless name drops but others do the thing that they’re infamous for and you are sometimes tasked with trying to stop them. The only positive thing I can say at all about the duel mechanic is that if you play the story mode it doesn't force it upon you all that often. I would definitely avoid the mode that is purely made up of those. Almost everything about the duels is frustrating. Probably my biggest issue with this is the fact that too often enemies blend into the background. This is obviously a problem for a game that is about you being able to spot them and open fire on them. I just feel like Where's Waldo shouldn't be an FPS. There's too little variety to the guns. I never found myself actually using a shotgun. I appreciate that they were trying to only go by what was available at the time and seemingly they also didn't want you to be able to pick up a tomahawk or a bow and arrow even as you see others use those. But they could still have done better. I haven't played the first three. It sounds like the first two are substantially better. I do not know why they dropped a bunch of features from those for this. It honestly seems like a very ill advised decision. The skill tree is nowhere near as satisfying and gameplay evolving as Dead Island by the same developer, a game that overall is inferior to this but definitely does provide much more engaging gameplay. I played all the way through the campaign of that three times not starting over mind you keeping intact all of the upgrades and such but still. This I doubt I'll play even a second time. The plot is paper thin. The ending feels too obvious and so much of this you spend bounty hunting but without the world building of Thief: The Dark Project which is also largely a series of jobs.
