As perfect now as it has always been

My first experience of Broken Sword was this game on the Playstation, since then I have played it on multiple consoles, different versons (Director's Cut) and now I am proud to have been a patron to its Kickstarter campaign to see it remade and restored in its original glory. After thirty years, this classic has aged beautifully and still feels as fresh as ever. A masterpiece of adventure gaming.

Greatest (remaster) of all time - GOAT

The emotional impact of playing through this game for the 20th time, now in 4K, was strong. As the end credits appeared, tears of nostalgia rolled down my cheeks and the knowledge of the future proofing of the greatest point-and-click game of all time was set in stone. As a Broken Sword fanboy who hated the "Director's Cut" this game definitely was what I wanted in 2009, but never got until now. We are so lucky to have such a strong community and beloved developers who created this amazing work of love for the world to experience once again - hopefully until the end of the next millennium. I absolutely love this game!

Broken Sword Reforged

This is a great, loving rework of the original game. The controls have been modernised so there is less fiddling and it's all very intuitive. The graphics have had a modern HD overhall, with CGI redraws of scenes, and then hand finishing, there are shadows when the player walks, it just feels very modern despite its origins. Hopefully 2 will get this treatment as well at some point.
