Disappointing after Broken Sword 1

I thoroughly enjoyed Broken Sword 1 and wanted to see what the sequel was like. While it's a good game, it changed some things that its predecessor got right, like fading to a scene transition while walking to a doorway, saving you from having to watch George slowly walk to the door and through it, which is what Broken Sword 2 does. I also find its story less intrinsically interesting than Broken Sword 1's, with its interesting history lesson on the Knights Templar. Broken Sword 2 is also, unfortunately, a little bit racist: its story depends on stereotyped depictions of South Americans as criminals, which is icky to see today. Otherwise, it's a perfectly good graphic adventure that maintains the cheeky tone from the first game. If you're playing Broken Sword 2 for the characters of George and Nico then you'll probably enjoy this game.

wont load, needs fixing

click play, the play icon activates then goes back to an active play icon again after trying to boot for 5 seconds have brand new pc running intel

Classic "point and click" adventure

Funny and intriguing story. I think the first one was slightly better written. Maybe a little too much talking and not many challenging puzles. Anyway I would recommend it to all the fans of the genre.

I love it.

What can I say? My all time favourite game. I've gotta say I am not a fan of the additions, the character portraits are absolutely unecessary and add nothing to the experience at all, do yourself a favour and download the original version that comes with this purchase.

Significantly worse than the first one.

I think most of the positive reviews come from nostalgia. After playing the original and liking I decided to go for the second installment in the series. Nico's character is significantly "nerfed" in this one, the pacing is all over the place, sometimes the scenario or interactions do not make sense. One positive are the interesting locations, yet still, not as diverse as the first game.
