Blood is a classic FPS game. Its level design, animation, movement, arsenal of weapons and monsters are as delectable today as they were in 1997. Fresh Supply is a solid way to experience it all, though there isn't enough to win over longtime Blood players from their favorite sourceport.

A much needed Transfusion
This is my first encounter with Blood. I always loved boomer shooters such as these. The only problem I had with games of this era is the varity of quality when it comes to ports. Blood (despite the buggyness) is the smoothest to play. Bugs are being fixed constantly, so hopefully soon that won't be an issue. It's just so fun to play. The gunplay is smooth and most weapons have a punch to them. The only weapon I don't like very much is the life leach. It doesn't do enough damage as I would have like and feels stiff to fire compared to the other guns on offer. Best part is, there are mods for this game that are as big as full on expansion packs. Stuff like Deathwish and Cult just give you more blood with fantastic levels. The fun never ends!

Classic but not the best build engine game.
Bought this back when it had first came out. Loved it back in the day and the first chapter is a classic (Phantom Express!) but replaying it again I realize it's slightly overrated and no where near as entertaining as Duke Nukem 3D or even Shadow Warrior which had humor and better weapons. Barely any talk from the anti-hero you play that's for sure and when he does he rips off horror movies. I guess what it has going for it is the level design which is excellent but expect to get lost and the later chapters are pretty boring compared to the first two. This updated version is great however and worth buying if you've never played it before. Duke Nukem 3D will always be the best build engine game.

Great game, full of bugs
Blood was and still is a great game. But this new version is full of bugs and almost completely unplayable. You can't even skip cinematics without crashing.
