Of the three build games that achieved popularity way back when (Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, and Blood) this one was always the best. The levels are the most creative, and never cease to do interesting things. The gun play is just as solid as the other titles and the horror theme is very inventive and compelling. This is a very fast game, and this remaster handles it perfectly. Plus, the remasered version makes the whole thing work automatically on modern computers. I can't recomend this game enough, if you like shooters get this now!
Runs perfectly, is faithful (in my eye), superior to the unofficial source ports, and enhances the original visuals with things like ambient occlusion and voxels.
ONLY complaint is some weird behaviour when jumping on top of voxel objects eg. fences and gravestones, which makes getting an early secret a bit tricky.
Thank's to Nightdive you no longer have to scour for wonky sourceports to play one of the best FPS games ever made.
Blood is so good I even played through the entire game on Well Done and went through the trouble of getting all the achievements. And I usually could care less.
