Dude, Blood is such a frickin great time. You get into playing it and especially once you get a decent sized arsenal, you're jumping all around annihilating your enemies, and better FPS bliss was never had.
If you don't own it, you either don't like FPS games or you need to reevaluate your life. Blood is amazing. Buy it yesterday, and at any price.
Thanks to Night Dive Studios, this FPS is in good shape. The only caveat might be the confusing level design (which was normal at the time of the original release).
It's an enjoyable game, but the port has significant room for improvement. In Raze engine you can play Blood with Bloom effect (which adds a very nice feeling to the explosions, fire and lights), Ambient Occlusion (that makes walls and crates look superb) and strafe sway like in Quake. And on top of that the FPS are FAR BETTER there than here.
It's open source! Why you Blood Fresh Supply can't pick at least bloom and ambient occlusion code and put into your code? Don't be lazy.
