In 1997 Westwood Studios released a title that won universal praise from gamers and critics all around the world, along with accolades like AIAS’s Adventure Game of the Year award. Set in the same time and universe as the 1982 classic science fiction film by Ridley Scott, Blade Runner video game is now making a big comeback on modern computers.

In the game, you take the role of detective Ray McCoy. Armed with your investigative skills and tools of the Blade Runner trade, you must roam the dark, rainy streets of Los Angeles A.D. 2019 in pursuit of androids gone rogue. Searching for those so-called replicants is a tough nut to crack because they look and behave almost exactly like real people. Faced with growing moral dilemmas, McCoy will soon have to answer questions about his own humanity.

  • Immerse yourself in the dark, gritty world of Los Angeles 2019, where you become both the hunter and the hunted.
  • Explore over 100 interactive environments including sets from the Ridley Scott’s 1982 movie.
  • Take part in a non-linear story that creates a unique experience every time you play.
  • Interact with over 70 motion-captured characters, all with their own AI and agendas.
  • Witness the climatic noir-style visuals, engulfed in smoke and rain.

  • Step into the role of detective Ray McCoy and utilize Blade Runner tools you know from the movie. Use ESPER photo analysis machine to distinguish replicants from humans, and analyze all case clues with the Knowledge Integration Assistant.

Will play again soon.

I purchased this game back when it was originally released, I still own the 4 disc's. I played it through successfully with different outcomes. It was a great game then, and I'm sure it will be again. (on Linux.) Will be the perfect Christmas present to myself.

这是官方发布的对比视频： https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmPyg9O2dlI 因为西木当年的代码丢了，所以现在的这个 Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition 是这个叫 Nightdive Studios 的开发商逆向工程出来的，支持4K高清和60帧（不过模型还是和原来的一样），据说要在 ps4, xbox one, switch, pc 在内的平台同时推出，发布时间还不知道。

Nicely Done

I enjoyed the game and the options. Wish there were more games like this one. Only problem is that I had to have a walkthru handy. I got stuck about five times in the course of a fifteen-hour playthru. I don't think the solutions to proceed weren't at all intuitive in those cases. Spoiler-free tho'. Anyway, I'll keep my eyes open for more.

Finally!

I bet I'm not the only one mentioning this, but I was so looking into a legit (and actually working) way to play my original copy of the game on a modern PC... You guys are the best, this was a gem saved from the technological advancement oblivion. And for any fan of the movie out there, rest assured this is a GREAT game and a GREAT homage to Ridley Scott's masterpiece. Love sci-fi? Love point&click adventures? This is a must.

Fantastic

I got this game when it was released (I still remember the huge billboard advert that was in my town - most unusual for a small town like mine). It truly is a fantastically atmospheric adventure. Really a follow through of the vision of the movie. 13 different endings, branching story, good main character. Well worth buying. 👌
