Betrayer

Betrayer is a first person action adventure game that takes you to the New World at the turn of the 17th century.
The year is 1604. You sailed from England expecting to join a struggling colony on the coast of Virginia. Instead, you find only ghosts and mysteries. What catastrophe blighted the land and drained it of color and life? Where are the settlers and tribes who lived here?
Clue by clue, you must piece together the story of what befell this doomed settlement and find a way to set things right. You will be hunted by corrupted Conquistadors and ravening shadows as you explore an expansive wilderness in order to trace the brief, tragic history of the colony and search for survivors.

Pretty good!
I got this game as a time-passer until I got paid to be able to buy other games (Tainted Grail primarily). It has some pretty decent combat, and can get frantic during some encounters. The atmosphere and tension the game gives off is really good, and definitely spooked me a couple times. My main problems are that the characters and story aren't really good, at least in the first 3 hours I've played. I definitely recommend this for anyone who's looking for a game to pass some time or just looking for a decent free-to-play game.

Interesting game.
I enjoy the investigative part of the game which displays horrifying incidents. While the game is nightmarish, the discoveries are worse as they actually could have happened.

lacks BG Music and Cut Scenes for lore
Add in some audio files and a few cut scened for lore instead of a book wise story update. Else its cool.
