Continue your adventure at Burgmeister & Royce in the second season of Being a DIK.
Season 2 expands upon the base game with bigger episodes than before.
This DLC includes:
Close to 14 000 static images and more than 900 animated scenes
An engaging story
129 new songs
58 special 2D art pieces
New mini-games and features
Plenty of lewd scenes with various girls
One playthrough of this DLC is expected to take 12-16 hours, which only scratches the included content's surface due to the branching storylines.
Being a DIK - Season 2 includes Episodes 5-8.
Episode 5 - HOTheaded
The DIKs evaluate Hell Week, but their plans suddenly change when an arrangement is canceled. Jill and Isabella try to comfort Cathy, and Josy is scared of the consequences of running away from home.
Episode 6 - Damage Control
Quinn is handling a pressing situation while the DIKs face the aftermath of the Hell Week evaluation. The HOT daughters make the final push to complete their scavenger hunt, and Tybalt has a proposition for Jill.
Episode 7 - True Colors
The HOTs are throwing a party and the DIKs struggle with boredom. Some sudden dorm life changes affect relationships, and Isabella tries her best to help Jill with a problem.
Episode 8 - Crossroads
Midterms loom around the corner and there is a Halloween party to plan. The immediate future stresses out Rusty, Sage feels nervous to ask for help, and you have tough choices to make.
Being a DIK: Season 3 will continue the story and be released and sold separately as DLC.
The game graphically depicts sex, usage of drugs and violence. The story is not intended for players being in a dark period of their lives. If you are easily offended or just looking for a fun game only, this game is not for you.
Not too much else to say, really. This is the perfect continuation for what is already an amazing game. I just hope Season 3 doesn't take as long to come out as season 2 did.
Amazing Story, Stellar Render, Multiple endings, Gorgeous women of with a college dorm experience. If that's what you looking for well the Doctors got your fix right here. Did I forget the Sound track. SMH.. This VN has got it all.
My spoiler free thoughts on Season 2, as well as my own personal tier list. I originally played Season 1 for the memes and I enjoyed all of the pretend outrage in the review section from people who never played the game, it had me in stitches. However the last laugh was on me, because I ended up really enjoying Season 1 a lot. Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off. So if you enjoyed the cast of characters, storylines, and humor from Season 1, then it’s safe to say you’ll like Season 2 as well.
MAIN EVENT TIER LIST:
Sage > Quinn > Jill > Isabella > Josy > Maya
MID-CARD TIER LIST:
Jade > Lily > Mona > Camila > Sarah > Riona > Cathy > Melanie > Sandy > Envy > Nora
ENHANCEMENT TALENT TIER LIST:
Sally > Heather > Arieth > Elena
I'm not sure what to say especially with only 2000 characters so my only gripe with the game thus far is that I have to wait until season 3 to come out meanwhile I will be replaying what is available to see how the game changes.
I think it's also fair to note that this is my first ever "VN" game I ever played and it's very different from other games, like FPS or racing.
A very well done continuation of the story.
The story has more branches, more consequences, including some quite unexpected ones.
The devs added a bit more to the gameplay this time with some additional minigames, all were in my opinion fairly welcome, with the only exception of the collor matching minigame, that one gets dull fairly quick, and there is no real incentive to keep playing beyond the required amount for the $ reward.
One minigame that i'm not a particularly fan of is find the hidden object, this was part of Season 1, but they went all out in Season 2, to the point where you basically looking for pixels on the screen, I really hope that in the next season they cut that stuff down a bit, because hunting for pixels is not an enjoyable experience in my opinion
But the minigame that i thought was the most interesting (and perhaps the one with the biggest potential for the future) was the management minigame, that one genuinely sparked my interested and i found myself looking forward to do it whenever it was available. I hope they improve upon that minigame for the future seasons.
They added a few more music tracks, and i have to say that the music is kinda growing on me, not my particular type of music, but good enough to enjoy it.
Minor crticism towards the story: I'm slightly worried about the path the story is taking, it's venturing from a fairly comedic story to maybe a pretty dark one. I'm sure a lot will depend on the players choices for the future episodes, but i'm still a bit worried with all the hints the game was giving throughout season 2, a lot of those hints painted a very disturbing picture.
